Labyrinth, the worst content ever made in POE?

Yeah that's because nobody wants to sit in a room and wait for traps to go by for 20 minutes, I'm playing a fast paced RPG game that requires me to constantly micro and pay attention, I don't have time to sit here and play Temple Runner. It's the most convoluted and unimaginative content I've ever seen in a Video Game. It would of been better if the Labyrinth was an actual Labyrinth and not a series of rooms with the same 2 traps and monsters, but just in a different position.

Content is basically pointless to even do as it just simplifies the gameplay.

Thank you for voicing your opinion on the poor labyrinth game play. You're number 657 on the list, as the list grows longer our voices grow stronger. Over 270 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 650 posters in support

The whole lab takes under 20 min to do, you can probably do all 3 labs and trials in under an hour.

Remove MF from POE, make juiced map the new MF.
As I said in other thread, we never left.

I think it's clear we need to see wtf are they gonna actually do in the mega patch next year.

I'm almost not playing this league, if the all new patch ends up being the same with a shitload of excuses of why they didn't do x y z they said they would, then, that's all folks!
^There has already been a mega patch in early September man, and nothing has changed.

I believe that the one he is talking about is the 3.0 release. This is expected to be a much larger release.

What ?
Who's expectations ?
Both are major releases, and have quite a bit of new content, I'm not sure if one is supposed to be bigger than the other at all, 2.5.0 was being awaited by many people to have endgame changes, imho.

Normal software nomenclature is that a patch is the smallest software change, usually just minor fixes. Using the GGG nomenclature this would be letter type release, e.g., 2.4.3c. The next level up using GGG nomenclature would be the third digit after the second decimal point (the three in the 2.4.3 example). The next higher level of changes with more substantial changes would be the second digit after the first decimal point (the four in the 2.4.3 example). The release level with the greatest amount of change/enhancement is represented by the first digit (the two in the 2.4.3 example). So 3.0 should be considered a release with greater change than what we saw in 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 or 2.5. It (3.0) would be expected to be a release with most change/enhancements since 2.0.

I don't think that this has been consistently true from the very start.

I mean, between 1.0 and 2.0 there was a much bigger amount of time than between 2.0 and 3.0, with a much smaller team and for example, a very consequent piece of content that is Queen Atziri and SotV was added in ... 1.1.0

For example, Dominus has been added in 1.0.2 also, it extended the main story and added a new class with very significant tree changes.

Maybe that they are now bigger and more organized, the first digit will be reserved to a "new act expansion", it would make sense.

The level of the release is typically based on a combination of how much effort (amount of change) and perceived significance of new features from the end user perspective. Chris has mentioned previously that adding new acts is a very significant amount of effort from the development perspective. I also assert that it would be considered a very significant new "feature/change" from the end user perspective to have a new act. This is completely consistent with my previous post on the matter.

edit: alternatively, there is no other reasonable explanation to what the x.y.x numbering system means. This is the universal meaning within software development organizations so, I have no clue what you think it could mean otherwise?

I never said that it didn't make sense, just that the previous patchs between 1.0 and 2.0 didn't exactly behave like this.
It is likely that GGG is being now more consistent about this, which would mean that the 3.0 would be more consequent than 2.5

It could also be that it's easier for GGG to have such clear deadlines and make the planning and organizing of the whole thing easier.
