Labyrinth, the worst content ever made in POE?

Removing Ascendancy from the lab would change it significantly. It is a check of your build and your skill as a player. If you can do it, you get rewarded. If you can't or don't want to, you don't. I don't like Cruel being locked behind Act4 either, but yeah, it is just the way it is.

And yes, there are arguments for having the points locked behind the lab. Namely that a game should require skill to complete, and the lab is the first piece of content since Atziri that actually requires skill and not just trading and following a build guide (Atziri can be trivialized, too, though). There are some bosses that require skill as well (by now, I actually like Malformation Piety, though I hate that she still lags badly, and the fact that the room is cluttered with shit that makes using movement skills unreliable), but you can just skip those and still get to level 100 by following a build guide and grinding mindlessly.

Labyrinth does absolutely nothing to require any skill. Izaro requires skill but the boring tedious and not fun trap nonsense requires no skill.

Then why are there posts all over the forums from people saying they can't complete it? People dying to traps, people dying to Izaro, there are posts all over the place with people complaining about them.

I haven't seen people all over the forums saying they can't complete it? The boring tedious and not fun part of Labyrinth is the trap game play. Izaro is a big boss fight in the same general game play that is in the rest of PoE that everyone here loves. For some people part of this love is loving to complain about it especially when over leveled. The difference in Labyrinth compared to the rest of PoE game play is two fold. First, the traps are a different style game play than the rest of PoE. Not everyone likes Prince of Persia, Frogger, or Mario trap game play. Second, if one leaves Labyrinth then they have to start over from scratch. This is problematic because some people have very limited gaming time available to them each day. It is also problematic for people that dislike trap game play because then they have to replay that disliked content over again.

If you have less than 15 minutes of gaming time available per day, you should probably find another game. You can still do it, given you get your character to be able to do it, just do it on the weekend when you have half an hour.

Aim for somewhere at the top, don't run in circles cause that never helps (not in maps, either), and spend a total of maybe 2 minutes in the actual traps. If that is too unbearable for you, don't ascend and stop complaining. Seriously, it is getting ridiculous, and your arguments get more and more laughable.

EDIT: You probably also find reflect, bearers, and corrupting blood "boring, tedious and not fun" I guess?
Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

Anybody could accept the lab if we have more than one (finite number of) tries.
No matter how GGG defends it , leveling the masters every single league and the lenght of the lab are by far the most pointless things in this game .

I am retired now and have plenty of game play time. I was trying to discuss the situation from the general point of view.

You are being rude and disrespectful by just accusing me of complaining. I'm here for the same reason you are which is because we want PoE to be the best game possible and so are providing our feedback and suggestions to GGG.

Traps is a different kind of game play that I find boring tedious and not fun. Prior to the labyrinth, PoE was my favorite game that I'd ever played.

BTW, why is it that you hate Act 4?

Enhancement should be out of rng, change it to something like gems equipped or we could see multiple variations and choose which one to use on helmet.

GGG does this shit pretty frequently. Act 4 was hilariously broken on release and there is still no reason to kill Merc Malachai apart from the challenge.

The solution is simple though:

Either ignore it or pay for someone to run it for you (its pretty cheap).

They aren't going to change it to make sense or be balanced, so there is no reason to get upset about it. Just accept it's stupid, pay someone to do it and move on to maps.

Yes, that's an option, thank you. From my own perspective, I would rather just play a different game than pay someone to do it. The other option of ignoring Labyrinth, at this point in time that is an option that I occasionally still practice. Although once they balance the monsters for Ascendancy Points, it will no longer be an option.
