How to fail Labyrinth with 91lvl character on Normal

+1 to this, i just got abnormal disconnect 2nd time in a row during labyrinth, wasted 90minutes. AT LEAST MAKE THE INSTANCES STICK FOR FKS SAKE, it is so frustrating/ unusual thing that this abnormal d/c happens only during labyrinth for me, can't remember when i got it in the normal gameplay.

lol I'm terrible at this game. I went back to the prison after doing the other 2 as lvl 26HC, but after I went thru the locked door I could barely see at all. I just walked around in circles till I died hahaha.
It really should not take an hour on a 90+ character. If it did I would suggest doing some very minor research and looking at some helpful tips that countless players in the community have posted. I went in blind on a character maybe 10 levels over and made it through in 35 minutes or so the first time. Subsequent runs were about 1/2 that amount of time as the layout is really not that complicated.

I feel like I would see less complaints about the labyrinth if the forums (HC/SC) were split.
1 hour. In Normal Lab. As level 91 character.
Ok...
Bad news...

Spoiler
...you suck.

I'm sorry, but I simply have no other words for this.

Honestly. Is that really what we'll do now?
I spent 9 months trying to reach level 50. I'm stuck in Cruel. Game sucks! GGG, plez fix!
We all know that Lab is not perfect and it needs a lot of fixes - but if this is all the feedback you can make, I think we'll never get any good ways of fixing it.

And yes, DCs suck. But they suck in general, and not because Lab is bad. Ever done tier 13+ maps? Getting DCed and losing portals (or worse) sucks. Doesn't mean map system is broken, because of that.
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.

I wonder if this game is made for people or zombies, coz honestly whoever like this lab thing is sick in the head. O.o

I think you are onto something there, I hate the lab and fear they will add these stupid traps to the rest of the game in future updates

I love the lab idea but i really hate traps...speacially the big logs with spikes that you cannot stop and have to do it on 1 run
You might hate it and that's fine but technically if you run the lab in merciless on an existing character that was already in merciless when Ascendancy launched you will get all (6) Ascendancy points.

So really you only have to run (1) lab on your existing characters. Alternatively, if you don't want to risk your character in merciless lab (assuming you hadn't killed merciless Malachai pre 2.0), you can run the lab in normal and you will get (4) points. So at most you would only need to run (2) labs on your existing high level characters.

I have about 20 high levels from previous leagues and I think I have maybe 3 left that I haven't ascended. I accomplished this in (2) evenings playing maybe an hour or 2 per night. Definitely not as hard or as bad as you're making it sound.

My advice: Either gun for loot or gun for ascendancy points. If you have not ascended yet try to just go through the necessary steps to accomplish that. You can always run it again to get loot. Trying to do everything at once increases your time investment which means a crappy DC turns into a HUGE loss of time instead of a minor one. Just my thoughts on the matter obviously you're free to run it as you see fit.
Well I started POE on Friday about after my brother asked me to level up so we can play together on higher level.(He has it pretty hard playing a sorc :P)So on i went to make lvl 41 and did my first lab run(test run)tbh it's hard but it's not impossible.First 3/4 runs are mostly to observe etc.Mobs are pretty easy.Traps as well but it depends on the build as i went type of mobilty/summoner build with eva/armour(didnt follow any build wanna see how well i can do without one :D)

Didnt make it past 3rd izano as i had a dc but First and Second one wasnt that hard neither was the traps.Golem+totem does the damage at Izano while i just kite the mobs/boss with whilrblade same with traps.I just whirlblade past the traps.I am pretty sure if i dont dc and i have enough time i can easily make it and i only have 1 k hp/630 def 1560 Eva(grace activated)so i am pretty squishy and if i can survive with those low stats anyone else can.

Only question i have are do you need to make Lab on normal before finishing the game or nor?As i am in no rush to finish it.The one thing i do not like is that if you dc you have to start from the beginning. That's kinda annoying but they did try to make so you can't tele back to town to refresh yourself(i think this is very good if it wasnt for some dc's now and again)

OP:You think this is hard play diablo 2 median xl mod to see what's truly hard as this is a breeze compare to that :D

I see no reason to avoid any traps in Trials.

Level 91 could just learn how to play, and he would not die.

If you are 91 and running Normal Labs for over an hour, there is something wrong. The only possibility I can think of is you tried to kill every mob and explore every zone there is... but that's just not necessary, half the time the silver key will yield you nothing good, just some rares, possibly an unique, but nothing will be good if you are in Normal anyway!

So if you see a silver key area, turn back, go to last location and find another entrance to move on. This will reduce your time spent in lab dramatically.

Enjoy.
