The labyrinth is both boring and frustrating
I'm not even going to read this wall of Q_Q!!!
The labyrinth is cool, it just requires a different playstyle then runing over with a psychopathic build! IT PERFECTLY GOES WITH THE STORY! And that's a big thing for a lot of player! I love meta build in the game but what I love more is the good story on the game. If it wouldn't have a good story I would never ever played it! Problem is I feel like a lot of player come here just to Q_Q so, I'm just here to say, a lot of player probably enjoying the labyrinth silently, without posting anything about it on the forum. +1 I could not agree more.
I had 3 temps all getting to the end all ended with a trap. Funny how the fanboys claim it require a different build when 90% of all the op cookiecutter builds include a lightning warp or whirling blades which is ideal for lab runs, the incredibly dull and poorly thought out trap system incourage exploiting and speedruns. To all those that love the labyrinth, GGG should keep it in the game but not gate Ascendancy classes behind it, just give some other optional rewards.

All I need is at least one checkpoint or a limited amount of tries...that's all. I swear every time I crash, DC or die right before the last fight I literally rage quit for a whole week before I get back in the mood to play POE again. Who thought this was a good idea? The Lab is almost as long as a whole act.

Decided to give rinth another shot. You know, maybe do the league challenges related to it. Collected three silver keys, got a trinket, reached what I assume was the last room before second trial. Then my client crashes.
Didn't even get mad anymore. In fact, I smiled. By now I realize that if I'm so bloody goddamn stupid to run broken as fuck content voluntarily and get involuntarily screwed over for it, losing whatever time I spent on it, it's still my own fault. It also dawned to me that people who love labyrinth actually DON'T love the PoE core game, aka killing shit and grinding drops. Maybe that's true even for GGG, and they'll take PoE even further from that style of gameplay in the future. The change of pace between labyrinth and normal gameplay is so painful that I'm now convinced all pro-lab posters would also praise GGG to heavens if they added a new area featuring Flappy Bird gameplay. [s]only mindless sheep think labyrinth is OK to have in PoE.[/s]

" record a video showing that 'painful change of pace between lab and normal gameplay' so we can see what you are talking about you run, kill stuff, pickup stuff - in lab and in maps. while leveling you skip most content, in lab when end-game you skip most content (the goal is different) but while leveling it is actually profitable to kill stuff as the XP there while leveling is extremely good so please, record a video so we all can see what you are playing that has such differences between lab and 'normal gameplay' and it is bold move to judge content crap because your client crashes. it is legit complaint but it is about the technical viability of this patch (MANY issues there) not gameplay mechanics |

" Uh, what? I don't kill stuff in rinth. The only kills I bother with are Argus, Izaro and the occasional pack for flask filling. You might as well remove all the mobs and replace them with "fill your flasks here" stones and I wouldn't see a difference. The only reason for slowing down is because I'm forced to do so. You can never be sure where you stand server-side, so bumrushing through traps won't work, as according to whatever retarded pathing the server uses you'll be standing on top of a trap until you die, even if you barely touch them on your end. Fun fun fun. Why would I stop and run boring content that forces me to exclude "action" from my playing in order to "level up", when I can just keep on progressing the "story mode" and head to merciless/maps? I don't see a single reason for doing that. " Come on. GGG should very fucking well know the blatant issues with their game by now, yet they still introduce content like this. Are you seriously defending rinth although they introduced knowing very well what kind of massive issues it'll have? And even still they decided to gate Ascendancy points behind it? WK.
