" You can pay ingame at the SHOP. When you logged in trough Steam you just have to open the SHOP ingame and then buy points, and there you can pay from your Steam also. IGN.: OhhShiatHereWeGoAgain

Did anyone consider that the "second wave" of trade improvements might apply the stash tab trade functionality to REGULAR tabs?
Maybe this first wave is a way of gating the trade system to a subset of the population MOST LIKELY to be engaged in trade and hence test the feature out for GGG before releasing to everyone? Anyway that's my take on it. I wouldn't want to see folks who can't buy premium stash tabs (for whatever reason) alienated from the first step towards an integrated trade system which PoE has been needing BADLY for many years. I'm willing to give GGG the benefit of the doubt, for now. Timezone: GMT +10 (Australia). CASUAL player but I play whenever I can.

Having spent my MTX points on regular stash bundles and the remainder 'saved' over buying the premium tabs on cosmetic upgrades for my characters I feel cheated right now. It certainly does not feel right that premium stash bundles would be offered such an advantage now when it would have changed the purchasing decisions of many people who chose differently. Whoever thinks this is not an advantage either plays exclusively self-found or is simply put insincere.

Thing is lot of players dont like to use Procurement, for differents reasons(and dont use your "90% players use 3rd party programs" stat who comes from nowhere). Procurement is a back-up option in the absence of a good trade system in the game. So now, PoE itself starts to have a good trade system, and the only way to use it is to pay for premium tab. I played since OBT and personally think that 4 tabs per league is enough to play and trade semi efficiently.
As a gratitude for providing me with the awesome game I bought 2 premium tabs and upgraded my existing 4. $10 is, in fact, just two-three burgers less to eat, regardless the country you live in. I've done it to make a small contribution to the Company and I'm glad, that devs implemented this feature. AND I would be perfectly fine without it. It saves just 10 mins on operating Procurement. If you, my dear friends, think it's a huge deal, than set up Acquisition(!!!), it's much faster(f'kin instant!) to use and completely free too. Now we only need in game market browser, I hope that it is part of one of next trade improvements. I think current change will help hugely, at least for lazy ppl who dont want to set up different trade threads for every league they play (and use several copies/ configurations of 3rd party programs) like me. One free premium tab (or maybe some trade only tab??) for every player would be nice I think.

"When I look at my steam backlog... .... looks like it is not going to happen for very very long time.. hehe. Honestly I think the biggest mistake they did is to sign the deal with Garena & then follow by region lock on steam pretty much put the final nail. I have no idea whats got in their head to do all that, and then now this trade improvement is gated behind all that. lol |
