Well as I said before the game is free, however you also have advantages - pls don't tell me Procurement does the same thing, you can't sell items without downloading a third party program, alt tab and linking your stuff in a thread, do you ? - if you PAY for premium stash tab. This is also a fact.

Yes, but is the added convenience really that much of a difference from the added convenience of simply having more stash tabs? I don't believe the added convenience is that much of an issue, (I believe) the real issue is that we still need to provide login details to a third party app for the free functionality.

the www indexer are faster than the intern one i bet... it is extremely important HOW FAT your indexer is.... this makes elite/ rest gamer

This is a really nice implementation and alternative for trade forums but the premium stash only does bug me.
This is why :
We still are dependant on third party sites who do the indexing.
Since the stash tabs seem to be a lot easier to index why would third party sites invest more in indexing trade forums.
In other words, not only the speed will be lower for people who use trade forums ( since they have to be parsed ) but in time surely quality will whane too resulting in more bugs for trade forum users.
So it might be "optional" but it prolly isnt.
Realisticly i see waiting times of 5 mins for stash tabs and 30 mins for trade forums ...

As POE has had the name of being the only true F2P ARPG outthere i would therefor suggest , like many others already have , to at least add one premium stash tab to the existing 4 normal ones.
With all the new stuff to collect an extra stash tab was due a long time anyway.

I have many normal stash tabs, never needed premium. And now, if i would want to upgrade, i would need to pay 5 points more for each tab, this is bs. I'd say a fair balance is to convert at least one existing tab to premium. That way we can still participate in the trading improvements, and people who likes efficiency/hoarding can still do so by buying more tabs as they've always been doing.

1 tab is nothing. I use at least 20 tabs for trade. If i still need to start a 3rd party program, than it is useless.

Why i'm disappointed, is that a huge feature is only available to the selected. Which was not the case in GGG's doing before.

We probably shouldn't confuse 'free to play' and 'free to compete'. The game was never exactly 100% free to compete, as will any user that had to juggle alt accounts for stash tabs tell you.

However, no f2p game today skirts it as close as PoE. If you play the game enough to care about competing you should support the devs, and if you can afford a PC and internet connection you can afford a premium stash tab.

I'm not an experienced seller but I really dislike the idea of making one of my stash tabs a shop because I need to sacrifice the entire tab for it.

Whenever I am trying to sell something, the item for sale sits with my other items which are not for sale

I won't be using this feature, unless you make players have unlimited stash tabs and we all know you get a lot of revenue by selling basic tabs and tab upgrades

Saying "Will never be Pay to Win"

Means EXACTLY that people who want to compete won't have to pay to do so.


And for all the trolls who want to show off the $500 they paid GGG: Whether I or anyone else can easily afford those stash tabs or not is utterly irrelevant. This is still pay-to-win even if everyone can afford it.

Ergo GGG is lying when it said that POE will never be pay to win.
