These tab simply give the premium tab people the ability to do that in their stash rather than click a box in a 3rd party program. I'd use both features, since with a lot of stash tabs you'd still need to use Acquisition to even find the item in your stash as the search function in the tabs is little help.

From what I can see from looking at some of the accounts of those whining is that they don't even bother putting up forum trade posts, so why the whining? If they have no intention of using the official forums to trade in then why whine about a feature you wouldnt likely use anyway. You either trade in this game or you don't. Don't whine about something you likely wouldn't use anyway.

Thats a bit like a vegetarian whining about the price of meat.

We still have no idea what the rest of the trade changes are going to be.

I remember a time when these forums were less whining and entitlement and more constructive. People are entitled to their opinions, but nobody wants to listen to you if all you're going to do is whine.


On a side note to those that think more tabs will make you 'rich' and give you an advantage in trade. I currently have 143 premium stash tabs, I also rarely trade and rarely have more than a couple of exalts in my stash. I tend to trade single items when I find them, then use that to buy other things I want. I hoard, I like a lot of space and I have no qualms about paying GGG some well earned cash for the job that they do. There are a lot of games out there where you'd be paying a monthly sub for half the game you're getting now.

If a player that gets to top 5 in a league gets given a fresh account to play with, with only their default 5 stash tabs, they will be able to get top 5. The thing is, because they play so much and play the game so often, they have wanted to support GGG. It is fun hoarding items, but I have come to realize it actually makes you slower in leveling, but I am not competitive - so I enjoy collecting some gear for the characters I might one day want to play. On the other hand I can just buy the gear I need if I wanted to keep using the default stash tabs.

If the stash tabs made a difference to clearing speed (like a unique that adds 1-2 phys damage per stash tab you own) then it will be pay to win, but until then it is :
1. Free to play and enjoy
2. Free to pay if you enjoy
If you don't feel like supporting GGG and qq because some people did get some extra stash tabs, and qq because others support gg and you don't ever want to, then you are also free to leave since you are clearly not having a good time with the game. And saying yu are supporting the game financially without any supporter logo's next to your name is possible but suspicious especially with your qq

The reason is simple, they are a small company giving us a free to play game, they just don't have enough money to plan shit like that.

It is not as big advantage as to use current third party tools, which is still supported.
If you really want to use, just get one premium tab and sorted for the rest of your playing time - they don't have time limit - they also active for every new league - and then you don't have to go back to not paying ;-)

I understand that stash tabs is a grey area, but without the sale of them I do not think making the game to what it is today would have happened at the rate at witch it did. More stash tabs means more server resources (especially switching between them are new calls/retrievals from db), and by giving that it makes sense for me to give something in return. I think it is possible that GGG can give everyone one premium stash tab to make everyone not wanting to pay anything ever the ability to use that functionality, and knowing them they are probably thinking in that direction, but I do not think it is needed from a moral perspective.
