I'm really blown away by the negativity and lack of understanding put on display by the people reading and commenting here. If you recall... "I would like to mention that the use of the public stash tab system is entirely optional. We are not preventing the use of any of the old tools, and they will continue to work so long as the third-party websites continue to index the trade forums." What are you people not understanding? This is totally optional and merely a simple and in-game way to tag individual items or tabs for pricing. It's not pay to win. There is no 'win', and it's completely optional, and you can continue to trade the way you've been doing before totally for free. Get over yourselves. It's funny how no matter what PoE decides to do, people wanna complain. PoE has taken the time to develop content at no cost to you other than stash tabs and your gonna call it a p2w? Are you serious? Trading has always been allowed by all users on the forums. You're acting like this is the only method of trading. There are several ways to include an in-game trade chat for the non premium stash tab users. Don't complain about content when your only trying to debunk PoE because it doesn't cater specifically to your individual needs. This is about everyone to INCLUDE poe. Live with it or don't. Grow up. It's not a matter of cost, I just do not like the direction it's moving. I'm fine with pure convenience provided by premium tabs, but this goes way beyond just convenience and everyone who knows how this API works can't deny it. Sure you are the kind whos like " Yeah I made the right choice buying premium tabs over standard stash" I am the guy who is like "Fuck why didnt they tell me before I bought a bunch of standard tabs..." So. I love the Idea because I think its a good start, and from what I'm reading its just a way to list your goods, not buy them. Still need to use 3rd party web sites or scour the POE trading forums to buy items. If that's the case, its not really adding any QOL. Using the 3rd party websites (Acquisition) are fairly easy, and does exactly the same things. I think using premium stash tabs are fine, (unless you've already purchased standard tabs, in which case, special considerations should be made). especially for a free game. People on the internet while commenting are stupid and do not read the entire descriptions of things, to put it as nicely and bluntly as possible. I'm either gonna have to slightly inconvenience myself by continuing to use a 3rd party site to index my stash as was explicitly stated for some odd reason o what is that just gonna go ahead and completely ignore that OR I guess I have to submit myself to the demonic will of GGG and pay a small sum of money towards an amazing game that I love and that consumes endless hours of my precious days until I am old and frail and reduced to a withered husk of my former self shamelessly farming alts until the end of my days arhwghgh the agony.
