Great guide & write-up. Only suggestions would be a spoiler denoting gem setup for QoL; but that being said I do believe people should actually read guides as opposed to skimming through gem set-ups.

Leveled this build from ground up, ~lvl 58 atm. I'm curious about whether or not



would be able to work? I'd assume using this would result in more mana complications and/or dropping auras which would be a bad overall tradeoff. That being said, I'm still curious as to whether or not the positives could outweigh the negatives should it allow more investment towards different nodes.

Ideally I would use them 100%.

Little bit of history.

This build came about from Awakening beta, which the original thread states. I was looking for a way to be a caster after they just made casters.... shit. This was all during the time they were changed reduced mana and arctic armour, while I was testing.

The build I ran was to see if you could viably run a high level arctic armour without the old EB, just before they changed it into an aura. I managed to stack mana etc to get 300+ mana regen, I don't remember the figure I got. At that time, Voidbringers were free if you were crit and gave so much damage.

However, in this version with all the changes, you already have somewhat of a mana issue, meaning that you need to invest into it. I don't really do this on tree, apart from Deep Wisdom, cause I think you can't afford it in skill points so I just stack it on Jewelry. With onslaught and GMP, I still need a mana potion at level 90+. For this reason, you can't really use voidbringers. The mana usage is insane on a high-mana cost skill like FP, especially with its links.

After level 90, theres sort of 3 options I thought about. I'm more inclined to get the crit nodes and Harrier to the right of Scion's start point, which would finish the build. Or, if I wanted life regen, I'd get the DoT wheel above the shadow crit nodes for 2% life regen. Either these two, or get Sanctity and Righteous decree for a bit of life regen and es while reducing mana cost. In this situation, voidbringers might work, but I'm still even sure you'd be able to sustain the mana even with that huge cluster.

Yeah; I've only just 5-linked with LMP and I can already see how voidbringer would necessitate a burdensome amount of mana-heavy gear. If only we could fuse Voidbringer + Winds of Change, that a miracle that would be.

Nope. Damage is very gradual, you have to be a bit stupid to die to it.

Ele Reflect maps are pretty rippy though.

The question i wanna ask is about your jewels, did you craft them on your own? bought them? or just id´d like that?

Its very hard to get decent es recharge jewels with stats like yours.

Yeah I just bought them like this. It's hard to get a decent 3rd stat on the jewel, like stats, cast speed, spell damage or crit but it is possible you just have to be patient. The only stats you need are the %ES and the faster recharge, which I've provided a link for in poetrade.

From the new patch, the 4% increased INT jewel actually looks really good and I'd like to try it out.

Is there anything i need to upgrade asap?
I am thinking that my body armour with 450 ES is rly bad.
Is it good idea to divine and hope for high max es and incr es roll?

I have 54 chaos and its time to invest into smthg.

Does the 2.3 buffs to elementalist change the ascendancy path? Occultist doesn't change next patch.
