I am so desperate to know how people can even hit over 40k dps with this

" Your jewels aren't that good at all. You want at least +3 dmg prop jewels in each slot. Also, gem quality and switch out increase duration for empower lv 4 if you want more dps. You are not using haste whereas some people are. This will pad up your tooltip dps so for them, the dps looks better. Some people also like using added fire damage or herald of ash. I personally dislike them because bosses have innate elemental resistances. But people will boast their tooltip dps regardless. So, don't worry too much about your tooltip dps. It's a poor indicator of your killing speed. For reference, my tooltip was 23k but I shredded all contents in the game without a problem and killing speed was excellent. Hi ppl,
I currently trying this build, but i've quick question. What do you think about Void Battery ? We have 3 Power charge + 2 with tree + 2 with 2 void battery. 7 Power Charge, each void battery give 25% Spell damage per power charge. 175% Spell Damage per Void Battery. I'm struggling to figure out how some of you get like 40k or even 80k tooltip dps on BV.
I'm having like 12k5 full buffed and 17k5 with power charges. Is increased duration still a good support gem for BV? I know I could add crit strike chance or conc effect to boost the tooltip but is it really worth it? The clearspeed seems good but such a dps difference is worrying. I won't gain that much with the few crit nodes at ~ lvl90 and my gems that are levelling won't give me that much either. This is my current gear:
