Leap Slam full garbage, worst movement skill in game!

Well your idea not bad, but if we take out attack speed affect from Leap Slam, than GGG will implement such a slow and useless base speed that it will only ruin gem even harder.

Leap slam is crap atm, i rather use quicksilver than leap slam for movement. But hey, melee sucks anyway so...

Back in the Original CB melee was fun, Leap slam was FUN. Sure leap slam gets across gaps and things, so its a utility. -Phase run helps:P

Leap slam should have more range again and be affected via movement speed for how fast the air time is and attack speed is how fast the player can initiate leaping, the present state of this gem is quite confusing.

GGG could simply make a jewel perhaps that would increase the range of certain skills: leap slam, lit warp, blink arrow... but that's merely a band-aid and another wasted socket-MOAR FOR THE RNG DROP BONFIRE.

Shield charge should drop the shield and just charge, that is LONG overdue in the updating department for skill gems. Simply Charging with or without a shield would be awesome. Perhaps the updated CHARGE GEM could give different bonuses depending on using 2h or 1h/shield?

Melee would be in a far better place if leap slam,shield charge were more ''accessible''. Certain melee skills should be able to be used with 1h-2h, all weapons swords,axes,maces. These certain melee skills are only: flicker,leap slam, whirling blades and shield charge(minus the shield), all remaining melee skills would fill niches.

No it's still my favorite but only after 20/20 all around and at least 30% cast spell in tree/gear. Otherwise I dont use it rather walk with quicksilvers

Just wait for new patch and will see: Leap Slam nerfed again as it being used by melee, while WB buffed further x5 times, as it being used by CoCs and casters, and everything else, but not melee.

Soon release and don't think we will see real buffs to Leap Slam.

There is a small chance we got minor useless buff and that's it. Not real changes.

So, being melee and die from ONE trap, ONE hit, crit TS with free knockback, totems, etc and no way to attack those 100% fine?

So, melee should not get any way to even hit in game and in PVP?

Also you forgot about broken gem called: Immortal Call.

Nice logic: melee = no way to hit, non melee 1000 way to not being hitted by melee + Immortal call.

It can be rebalanced for PvP separately. Many skills are already like that.
