Leap Slam full garbage, worst movement skill in game!

Honestly I don't think movement skills cause this problem. Problem is that there is no content that force party players to stay together and use tactic approach. Everyone rushing forward to kill mobs before others even touch it to prove they're best. I call it clear speed retardation. :)
Every hard or more sofisticate content is rather consider to be solo content.

Leap slam is perfect as-is. It crosses gaps that WB can't, and it's just as fast, if not faster because it can go up cliffs and whatnot. I easily keep up with WB users on my 2h oro's character, no sweat. That, and the duelist 2h slam animation is AWESOME. Put some fortify and faster attacks on LS, it's the perfect movement skill.
They should increase range for Leap Slam.
Leap Slam - Fortify - Faster Attacks is pretty much all you need. Theres also the satisfying animations when doing Leap Slam for the Templar, Marauder and Duelist as they put more weight on the weapon. My biggest problem with this skill is its wonkiness in activating this also happens with flame dash. As you have to shift cast it to prevent stupid events like your character walking a few meters then doing the skill.

If you ask me, movement skill speed should be affected by move speed, not attack/cast speed, the way Cyclone or Warp work. I agree the base execution speed of Leap Slam should be a bit faster, but I also think whirling blades should be slower, or have a cooldown/use counter.

+1 on increasing range, that's all it needs. i have been using it for years and this last nerf made it really ugly, though as a 2H melee, i could not spec out of it.

after building up two other characters, one of which uses WB and one of which uses blink arrow, i can tell you that both are far superior. WB is the best for GTFO since there is no cooldown. blink arrow is overall the best since you can go up or down and you get free aggro/damage.

i think all of the movement skills are generally ok and all have their ups and downs, but leap slam is definitely suffering with the latest range nerf.

Shield Charge

Would be pretty neat if they just reworked it; change it to just "Charge" or some other name...allow it to work with 2 handed...make it more swift than it is now...bring it closer to what it was like on D2 paladins..now that would be an awesome movement skill to have, but that is of course never gonna happen *insert sad face here*
+10 shield charge is so useless and broken , idk why ggg dont have change is going too be so kool using a 2 hand weapon and charge , sad melee are very limited :(
also shield character have any shield bash :( any block animation or song :( anyway peace and enjoy your melee :(

This might piss someone off but I'll go with it , GGG really really should give only melee builds the tools to move this fast - not the ranged builds they already have that thing where they can offscreen oneshot everything . Giving ranged builds a skill like this in particular was a bad idea .

This is why I think it's time to lock some stuff behind certain playstyles .

The A.classes are a good start but won't fix the issue .

Yeah, everyone know that, but not GGG, they think adding broken gems to the game - 100% fine and correct, when buff Leap Slam to 100+ range and increase attack speed very bad.
