Leap Slam full garbage, worst movement skill in game!

So, i was in Sarn for Leo, and can't catch caster with whirling blade, when i fully geared 50+ MS, AS on weapon and from tree, Leap Slam linked with 20Lv+23%Q AS gem and other stuff. And i was slower than caster with WB + fortify? He linked his gear after and he got no AS on gear and on tree, but still was faster than me? THE HELL IS THAT BALANCED?

WHAT THE FUCK DEVS? Chris please explain to us, how you decided balancing game? It is pure garbage mechanic, when melee should have only worst skills and not equal rights!!! Just WTF is wrong with balance in this game? Why you devs so much hate and penalize melee? For what?

Same situation was in party play: caster with WB much faster and way easier run around map (also WB not require calculated distance to make MOVE!), while those who used Leap Slam (forced to use that garbage skill) slower by default and needed NEED TO MOUSE OVER RIGHT SMALLEST POSITION just to make ONE SMALL JUMP! We should calculate our distance and where we can jump or not - WTF? I play on wide screen and can tell its pain to use Leap Slam!

Leap slam distance should be brought back up by 200% as minimum. I don't care about damage from Leap Slam, just remove it, or reduce the damage on Leap Slam.

Movement is a big part of the game, in PVE and PVP, so why Leap Slam got so bad mechanic when you SHOULD mouse over your calculated position where you plan to jump AND + you should knew and be sure that DISTANCE possible to make THAT ONE SMALL JUMP! This is stupid and worst mechanic i have ever seen.

With Leap Slam you move much MUCH slower than ANY (absolutely any) player with whirling blade.


Or make whirling blade global, so Two handed, Axe, Mace, etc can use it freely. So we can vendor all our Leap Slams and forget about that garbage skill.

Whirling Blades is way too fast.

This have nothing to do with balance, this is pure META shift.

You think cyclone -50% damage on frst hit and -50% less incinirate damage is becouse of nerf?

Can you honestly think Totems uniq jewel is nerfed becouse of balance and in same time Fire Ball got GOD MODE AoE Jewel?

Same go for Movment skills, they over used and so they just make it complite junk, same they done with Leech, AoE, melee splash and cycle go on and on.

META need to change, they dont have time to do balance and they dont do it att all ATM.

No worst is flame dash. At least with leap slam you can do cool stuff like triple curse area as you run up on mobs. Very useful when playing 2hdrs. Takes the curse middle man out since you have to move anyway. It's range needs to be extended though.

Try this in you next melee 2hdr build

Leap slam > faster attacks > fortify > curse on hit > increased AOE > vulnerability

leap slam and whirling blades are different skills.

Leap slam is bigger aoe, it also allows movement across obstacles that WB can't.

Just like lightning warp is different again than the others

No it's still my favorite but only after 20/20 all around and at least 30% cast spell in tree/gear. Otherwise I dont use it rather walk with quicksilvers

What you're saying is get two 6l's just to make leap slam useful?

Do you understand how far from reality your suggestion is for like, I don't know, 99,99% of the players?
