[2.2] Thor, the Lightning God (Life double Arc/Storm call Mjolner / Triple Curse / HC and SC)

I'd rather show it on video. And I still haven't lvl him yet I'm like lvl 50ish for now. I'll have two full days to play this weekend so it should help a bit lvling/gearing him.

All the videos I'll upload are from a Standard league character but I built him to be HC oriented. Eventualy I'll make a build guide video with difference between SC and HC versions.

Awesome man, looking forward to the videos. Playing the build and I just hit 67 in Perandus standard and it feels great so far. Can't wait to get into maps.

Just to temper my expectations (or not), does your standard char use legacy mjolnir or the 30% proc one that we are left with in leagues?

Haha I must confess since my char was migrated to Std I could not resist to use the Legacy one. :p

But for during my videos I use the 30% version. ;)

BTW for people who wanna know how this build can handle Atziri without insta leech from Vinktar's flask : Use double storm call instead of double arc. You will not crush the split phase as double arc can, but you will not die to reflect too. And it appears it's the most important, not to die.

Gotta try to replace the 4L single target boss setup since double storm call seems useful enough for bosses. Maybe use a 4L leap slam with fority could free a socket on the main attack links. Opening a socket for Lightning Strike/LMP.

But I'd have to leap slam every 4 seconds to sustain fortify, can be rippy. Maybe using Lightning Strike - Multistrike - Fortify - Blind/Vaal haste would be good too.

Just for fun since I'm leveling and can't Righteous Fire; I'm toying around with lightning strike + multistrike + weapon elemental damage in my shield. Seems like in theory it will be ownage with orb of storms on single target bosses.

But I'm trying to replace that glacial hammer slot, might end up just using vaal haste since i don't think vaal lightning strike will be good on it's own (when i can use righteous fire). Though with orb of storms maybe it will still be good with no links.

So I tried Orb of storms and it actually don't trigger with auto casted spells so it's useless for the build.

I removed the 4L vaal spark setup and glacial hammer gems too. My new skill setup is as follows :

6L : Molten strike - Multistrike - GMP - Faster Attacks - Life Gain on Hit - Blind
4L : Leap slam - Faster attacks - Fortify - Vaal haste
4L : CWDT - IC - Stone golem - Enduring cry

Would you still use rise of the phoenix in a softcore build?

Isn't Vessel of Vinktar proc EE? I mean it adds lightning damage to attacks, so aa gives +25% to fire and lightning resistances and -50% to cold
Edit: Ahh, nvm, just "penetrate" roll =)

Love this build. Running only single curse though, and 4 link RF to kill "allies cannot die mobs" without my PC exploding from the infinite arcs. Gonna get a few more lvls then try Atziri i think. And i find cyclone faster for clearing most groups in maps.
