Also, something that I feel like needs to be pointed out is that these runes are absolutely NOTHING like Diablo runes. They simply share a name. These runes are used to modify gear in some way, and in an interesting way.

Bump cause I really like the idea especially that combat techniques, Lets add another layer of customization!
Some really cool ideas here. I think everyone should at least appreciate the amount of effort and time that went into putting this together. Not saying I want any or all of it added to the game but either way, good work.

ps: The essence orb is a really cool idea. Game changing while not being OP.

Thanks a lot guys ! I would like to point that most of ideas are 'semi-unbalanced', me and drgman tried to balance it, but it wasn't enough. For the next big project i'm working for, i'll try to do a better work with it.

I was reminded today by your post and just wanted to say Balance is what the 1-League tweaking is for between Introduction (3-Month Leagues) and Implementation (Added to core game)

I think 3 months of whatever with this idea would be an awesome :)

Nice suggestions, appriciate your effort, that is what the suggestion´s forum needs.

I would realy like Affixes for skillgems (suggested it myself), but they shouldnt be just plane powercreep, rather more costumization, for example: damage-conversions, Qol like ""raise spectre always summons X"" or spezific attacks for minions, affixes that favor less supportgems, strange conditions like the viperstrike-jewel.
Turning int/str/dex gems around is a bit meh, but not nessesary bad.

Dungeonkeeper´s are cool, but the immortal part is.., i dont know. It´s more a rpg Feeling, i wanna be the badass capeable of killing evrything. I quess multiple DK would be more intresting, because you would have to decide which one you fight at his full power if the other Dk are still alive. Or the other way around, they share there superpower to the map if they are dead/sealed.

About the glyphs, well im not huge fan of ""reharshed"" stuff, if it already exist´s in some way. From my understanding glyphs are Item-mapdevices, it´s like suggsting mapdevices to have 6 Slots an be enchant-able. I would like it, if glyphs are like strongboxes/darkshrines, spawn somewhere, put your stuff in and enter it. Despite my personal taste, it´s a good Suggestion.

The skilltree is usally ""my Topic"", but would be to much to argue about it.
Basicly i´m against highly spezialist notes, because they only encourage to stack them like crazy (D2 phenomen).

One of the best things I've seen on the forums ever. Obviously a lot of the ideas would break the game, but a lot of them would also make it more amazing. Hilldrake is spot on with calling it a starting point for ideas and development.


My personal favorite is the spectres do not die keystone. Not because of it's originality or anything, but rather because of the huge QoL improvement it would give. Losing a spectre isn't a penalty to your character, it's a penalty to fun. It's not like you don't replace the spectre right away, but doing so takes stupid amounts of time for something which you basically "have" to do for your build to work. Just have them die for a time, and respawn after an acceptable period.


Again, amazing work :D Truly love fantasizing about what this game could add if it had unlimited resources :)
