Mathil's Voltaxic Crit LA/Blast Rain - Cruise control the entire game. Uber Atziri Viable 2.2 ready

Just reading through here as I finally got a voltaxic, I have a level 87 ranger that would need a full respec to run voltaxic LA, just wondering if I should invest the currency to do that or start with a scion or duelist? Is ranger the way to go?

So I am having massive issues with damage compared to what I think I should have. I see people saying they have 120k LA and stuff and I'm here at around 12k. Where/What can I improve on to help fix this? I know I need assassin's mark instead of warlords mark. Vaal haste and a few other minor things, I don't think those are the full difference though are they?

Also I am having major issues with intelligence, I have it pretty much everywhere it should be but I can only ahve level 11 wrath without getting a bunch of the nodes....

Not sure how to post my character info so I just unlocked it.

Is it because I went duelist?

Any1 know how much worse shadow assasin is for this build? I mean is it worth rerolling ranger, or can assasin be as good?

I see every1 going everything else, but shadow xD

It looks like he has 110 from the passive tree. 16 from his amulet. 24 from a gem. 14 base.

110 + 24 + 16 + 14 = 164.

anyone can tell me the gloves question?

i see someone use maligaro virtuosity, someone use facebreaker

so Maligaro's Virtuosity or Facebreaker is the best?

I'm on 164 Int. Preferably you want 159 for lvl 21 Wrath and Herald of Thunder. I have 1 +16 Jewel socketed and 1 +30 Int node selected as a passive. Hope that helped!

Can someone explain why Poison support gem is so good for blast rain? I know it poisons on hit but is it that much of a dps increase if you have no major poison damage elsewhere. Started playing like 3 weeks ago so still learning (if its a dumb question)

if u have lots of crit chance in gear//tree + high crit base bow then facebreaker.
i had 60%crit chance 330crit multi with maligaro,
with facebreaker i got 55% crit chance, 380 crit multi and dps has risen about 6%

or if u have charge recovery diamond flask and around 45% crit then go facebreaker no matter what dps tooltip says (it doesnt include bonus from flask)
flask reaches her maximum potential at around 50% crit chance : it raises ur crit to around 75% (assuming u have high accuracy)

Before someone puts effort into explainings: The answer is simple. We convert all of our damage to chaos. The Poison damage is calculated based on your Chaos damage (and physical damage respectively) inflicted.
