1 - Does the gem say "area" on it, then yes. If not then probably not.
2 - This is just another forced currency drain "group only" challenge, if you arn't planning to spend a few 100 exalts to get 32/32 it is probably one to ignore.
Quick question.

If skill effect duration nodes effect the duration of poison, then why don't they affect the duration of other status ailments? It seems very strange to me that poison would be an exception to this rule (except for a poison generated by viper strike of course).

While, I never want to ask for something which is thoroughly bad for my current build, it might be better to not have the base duration of poison affected by skill effect duration. This seems a lot better for the game than having duration nodes affect *all* status ailments.

I'm not super upset, more just confused, and think it's currently pretty weird that it works this way.

Two questions.

1) If i link Increased duration to a poison delivering spell/attack does that affect the poisons duration and if so are there any exceptions? (this appears to have been answered but i'd like it to be clear if its only for things like viper strike or any skill that delivers poison)

2) Is a math clarification Lets say I'm using consuming dark+infernal mantle incinerate to deliver my poison. and have the following from my passives. 134% increased damage over time, 45% increased projectile damage, 184% increased chaos damage and 125% increased poison damage. (488% total) SO if I'm understanding the previous answers this should all apply to the poison damage which should change the 10% into 58.8% of each hit. Is there a flaw in my math or do any of thouse modifiers not work in the way i think they do?

Thank you, also, I just happened to edit another question in, but I'll repost it here:

If I use a skill live Viper Strike, with 100% chance to poison on hit, and say, a node that gives me 10% poison on hit, do I get double roll and a chance to apply two poisons on one hit or am I wasting poison chance? Thank you again.
