Na its obviously what the constituents want to hear.

And yes, they ARE messing with the US by smuggling in everything from cocaine to kids to be sold into slavery by the ton, so please, stop. You're looking extremely ignorant.

That's just mental gymnastics at this point.

Mexico will not allow immigration into their country unless you can show that you have $10k US in assets to bring with you. They JAIL illegal immigrants from south of THEIR border (because they want neither competition for their own colonists in the US, nor to import the poverty of their neighbors), and worse:

Meanwhile, Mexico provides education and support to those who aim to enter the US in violation of OUR laws, exporting their own poverty, while importing BILLIONS in remittances from their expatriate population. And they laugh at us all the while.

I think you willfully ignore that the US pressures Mexico to crack down on illegal immigrants in the same article. And it makes more a case for searching different solutions to a mere border block (see, pointless violence). Mexico cracks on illegals mostly to stop their vouyage to the north. Here is the original Guardian article Breitbart sources.

Also, if you post Breitbart articles, I can post Salon ones.

This is a neutral sources I found about that (don't expect people believing those theories without proof, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof). If Mexico is exporting their poverty or just helping to improve their citizens situation knowing they have travelled to US, it depends on how you want to see the whole thing. Mexico is not your enemy, that's just paranoia. The situation is fairly grey. Also, see Scrotie's last post.

Then people complain about media spinning it...

It's a gross misrepresentation to say that Mexicans, and only Mexicans, are engaged in drug smuggling and human trafficking into the US. Criminals with United States citizenship no doubt play a significant role. It's more of an international criminal partnership.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Even if that was not the case it wouldn't make sense to punish a whole country for those crimes.

Well, there's simply not a large Swedish immigrant population that I know of. But if you think there are no European-born criminals engaged in drug or human trafficking in the US... well, that's just delusional, and borderline racist.

Ive seen The Wire, The greek types do exist, of course.

By and large the Mexican criminals are the current problem. They are the main importers of all things illegal. Look what the US govt did to the Mafia once they'd decided enough was enough, same shit is going to happen to the Mexican Cartels. Just look at what happened to the Columbian ones in the 80s

Did you see that recent go pro video of the raid on el chapo's compound? Hollllly shit. When the US wants you, they get you.

Once the Mexican cartels get bitched slapped it will be the Peruvian's turn and on n on we go
