[2.3] King's "Close Stalker" - Blast Rain + Puncture Trap + 50/25 Block [HC and Atziri deathless]
I've used Roth's Reach with Ice Shot till I got blast rain. Now some random rares till I got to Chin Sol.

Roth's Reach->Death's Harp->Rare bow->Chin Sol
After you get Chin Sol, use Roth's Reach 3D skin transfer on it :) Last edited by kralj87#7793 on Mar 10, 2016, 1:00:23 PM

When do you get Avatar of fire? Should be rushed after RT?
(leveling trees would really help :)) |

I'll add a leveling guide in a few minutes ;)

Thanks for the leveling guide mate, great work. Though I have a question : why go for the upper staves path ? I mean it adds a lot of critical but since we take RT, they're useless. However, the mace nodes that are just below are amazing and affected by the jewel. Wouldn't it be better to take those ?

Well, when I first did this build, I took both nodes. That first node in Mace wheel is not affected by jewel, so that's a wasted node. You can pick whichever you like :)

What about taking the upper path of maces and the lower path of staves.
If we do the math : Taking all the staves nodes : 9 Skill points required - 83% increase physical - 10% block chance - 10 % power charge on block - 70% critical chance and 10% charge on critical hit (Useless since we take Resolute Technique) Taking lower staves nodes and upper maces nodes : : 11 Skill points required - 128 % increase physical - 10% block chance - 10 % power charge on block - 4% Attack speed - 5 % Radius - 40 % stun duration So for 2 points, you gain 45% physical, 4%AS, 5%radius and 40%stun. Seems quite superior. Even if you don't take Smashing staves and the physical up from the lower path, you still gain 10%physical, 4%AS and 40%stun for free. |

So I am a bit confused. In your second version of gear, you use Kaom's Heart instead of Daresso's Defiance, but with this version, how do you generate endurance charges to power your immortal call? We take resolute technique so the chance to gain an endurance charge from smashing strikes never comes into play. Is there something else I am missing? Thanks for the build btw!

" Yeah, you get some extra damage, but you loose that extra 10% block chance and spend 2 more points. I'm playing HC, so that 10% of block chance is really nice to have. I'd rather invest those two extra points in jewel slot or something :) But you can't miss with any of those! |
|
You don't lose 10% block chance since you DO take the whirling barrier.
Also, instead of taking the Life leech/Life Leech/Vitaly Void, you could take Life Leech/Life Leech/Hematophagy.But that's just another option. |
