I searched through the responses here and wasn't able to find an answer to my question.
I'm about to give this a try, but I'm confused why so many points are dumped into staves nodes (i.e. the nodes containing Smashing Strikes & Whirling Barrier) - don't the apply to melee + staves? I'm not sure if the linked tree is out of date or if I'm just not realizing the point of those nodes. Thanks for the awesome work! |

" Hi! The reason we take those nodes is because of Lioneye's Fall jewel which makes melee nodes work with bows. That's why those nodes provide us extra damage and block chance. I see in your setup you use doedre's with flammability/elemental weakness and enfeeble. What changes in gems would you recommend for someone who can't yet afford a doedre's? Thanks in advance!

Doedre's Damning costs around 1 chaos.. There's no way you cant afford it! :)

In the duelist tree: I think master of arena should be dropped because you gave up on using the jewel below duelist start? and get attack speed on the right instead of melee damage on the left
