(Talisman) 2.1 Essence Drain/Contagion build (Chaos Proliferator)

Currently giving up as clearspeed isn't so good (15-20 min per map) and I keep on ripping on t10/t11 maps.
Stuck on Lvl 88.
Currently running this build at lvl 63, using almost the same skill tree. I just decided to pick Enthropy and Nullification instead of the jewel in shadow area. Damage is nice and its fun to play. Using a trisula to gain some extra block chance and be able to use fortify.

can someone explain how crit chance affects ed? does it actually contribute to the dot or just raise dmg from projectile hit?

Did you try Bino dagger with the build . Should help with clear speed survivabilty, just curious how it works on high level maps . I`m currently just tier 2 but everything dies really fast.

I am planing to put item rarity with contagion , according to GG community answers the item rarity triggers on the fist degen skill used . As we use contagion first it should work and also on enemys that have contagion spread to them , probably fist contagion spreads and after that ED.
Anyone try adding in decoy totem on normal mobs? i find it pools them together fairly easy to spread the pain quicker. bosses tend to ignore them though so back to the wither totem.
I tried making a variation (full build) of your idea.

The tree I have come up with is this:

I know it's a pretty high level (94), but you can remove a few nodes either from jewel nodes or life/dmg to get it back to something like 80, like this:

poeurl.com/vaj

This is a level 86 variation which dropped a bit of life, and small amount of dmg/jewels, but I'm sure it will still do the trick.

I'm still leveling, so it's all speculation, but I'd reckon it would work.

Might be worth it going for Acrobatics since I'm alrdy reaching for Fatal Toxins (Using Poison support gem).

totally worth leaving out the area nods and go for more chaos/poison dmg!!!
heres my skilltree so far Passive skill tree build
i'm lvl 85, running t10 maps deathless and i killed atziri.
was thinking of using consuming dark in offhand to leave out poison gem for more dmg, but i guess i need Acrobatics to compensate the block chance from shield


EDIT: finally reached lvl 90 and got enough :D. 4.7k hp, 400es and 16k degen. using binos and consuming dark.
ed setup: void manipulation-faster proj-controlled destuction-lv2 empower-rapid decay
final skilltree: Passive skill tree build

got to say that this is getting annoying on t12+ maps
