Flame Golem adds like 200 dps because we already have so much increased damage. I honestly don't think it's worth it vs Chaos Golem end game. I personally haven't even bothered with a Golem yet.

Ideal dagger would have spell dmg, atk speed, and Leo dot craft

Bosses actually die quite fast, for instance I did the entire Cruel Malachai fight in under 2 minutes (with 0 leveling gear obviously, new league) and he has inherent chaos res.

Yeah it is.

I'm using a 4L ED and got no problem so far, did a few maps 66~67.

Someone used Abyssal Cry to kill boss ? any thought ?

Because mob die before you can use contagion and essence drain in the same monster.

Because i'm lazy i use, at least now that i have just started using ed and contagion , contatgion on spell totem, also for boses that jump around and spawn a lot of ads i use GMP with ED.

If anyone's running a contagion build - use a Heartbreaker until a decent endgame alternative drops. The innate culling strike is boss.

After reading this i kinda regret going with a shadow. A chaos scion does seem better with the area nodes and all curse effect+dual curses. Oh well, guess i'll keep running Grace until i get a doedre's and swap it for temp chains.

Hey, I like essence drain thing so I started with shadow, hoping to build a trapper and surprise surprise, essence drain does not work with traps. So Im rerolling now and I kinda like your tree BUUUT I dont like Scion starting area that much, plus she is so stat-starved early. Figured Id re-work it into templar, came up with this:

16% more life at the cost of 2 jewel slots, 26% less spell damage but 27% more chaos/over time damage, some assorted changes (more mana regen but less max mana, no 20 life on kill, 5% less cast speed, 5% less move speed and 4% less chaos res).
IDK if starting at scion is worth it if youre not going for all the duration nodes - main asset of scion..

OR you could do something like this, 26% more life at the cost of 2 jewel slots, same damage:

Or even unspec Melding cluster for 15% less life but 45% more skill duration, 10% all res and some eva/armor.

Any thoughts?

Scion is far from stat starved early, you have access to extremely high amounts of int/dex early and decent str.

Essence Drain is being fixed soon to work with traps, there are some bugs they're trying to work out at the moment.

The main asset of Scion is jewels, not quite sure what you're smoking but I want some.

50% skill duration from the tree is more than enough.
