I personally don't think the smoke cloud trade off is really worth it. If you're looking at the ascendancy classes this would give a total of 60% increased damage. We can already get more out of using a crit shield or using a Searing Touch. The blinds are nice but as a trapper you should have enough damage to not get hit. I just don't think this trade off is really worth losing the damage.
