(2.6) Demopolos' Ultimate Facebreaker: 6L Shield Charge (500k) or Cyclone (1.4m) w/ 4L Warchief

Thanks for this build. Im leveling in breach HC and everything is just melting!

I'm kinda afraid to use Abyssus in HC. Even 40% more damage seems too much. Do you have any alternative for the helm slot?

Also would you change anything for HC?

Thanks
Abyssus adds too much damage to take off imo.

As long as you don't get one shot and have fortify up you should be fine with abyssus on. Get enough life pool and armour for the content you want to do.

Has anyone tried chayula with this build yet?

Okay i will try to use Abyssus. The dmg boost is insane.

Can you tell me the order of the ascendency skill points? Life leech node first?

yes, leech nodes first and then headsman

I'm really enjoying playing this build. And I agree that Abyssus is just too good to not use on this build. The additional physical damage taken can be mitigated by using Wall of Brambles (which is the Prophecy version of Bramblejack) which reflects 40% of physical damage. So far, it's working great and I'm not getting spike damage as much as I was without it.

Finally got some time to play so I'll make the requested uber lab run video tonight.

Yea, as slayer I'd probably just go with Abyssus and prioritize stacking some defense (big life pool early, big armour shield, put enduring cry in for vaal haste and keep active). My friend made it to I think lvl 93 with abby in HC.

If you want a much tankier setup for HC, you could instead go 75/75 block gladiator with surrender shield. Bringer of Rain would help you hit max block (and avoid the extra dmg taken form abby, tho you will lose dps). This is a very different build/tree though... would be slower but tankier.

Actually, reflect IS NOT damage mitigation as far as I understand. It simply takes a percentage of attack damage received and inflicts it on your enemy: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Damage_reflection

This means you are free to drop wall of brambles for something better, since you survive phys damage anyway. :D
Hey everyone, been pretty successful with this build to this point. Had some issues with Uber Izaro due to low damage (not running Cyclone)... Wondering if someone can take a look at my gear and make any suggestions or verify what I'm thinking for priorities to improve damage:

1) Could run Vulnerability instead of Enfeeble, but at 6k life I get pretty close to 1-shot by big attacks because I don't recognize them to avoid them yet
2) Necklace is probably lowest hanging fruit, but the int is pretty necessary for Conc effect/increased AoE... could be tough to replace. The resistances on it also cap me.
3) Shield upgrades seem to be pretty pricey, same for boots, but increasing resists there might free up the amulet.
4) Lion's Roar and Taste of Hate could help a lot as well!

Thanks :)

Your gear is solid, and with some minor adjustments should breeze through uber lab.

I would upgrade in (roughly) this order:
-blessed on your neck till 29-30 int (this is pretty good, there are easier upgrades for you)
-buy lion's roar (this is a 35% "more" damage buff you are missing, you have 9.6 straight seconds of it, which will make izaro much easier)
-swap rumi's for taste of hate (since you are no longer benefiting from the granite base since u have lion's, this will be a big dmg boost and more consistent mitigation for 1 shots)... or if you can't afford swap to a good basalt with armour % roll
-upgrade to a shield with bigger armour (and whatever other life/res/att boost you can get)
-buy a 25/15 atziri's promise (3% more counts... all of this adds up)
-put a prefix into your glyph finger ring (armour % if you are willing to spend 1 ex, mana otherwise)
-Get all gems to 20/20, or higher

Once you at least get lion's roar, with your gear Izaro should melt if you: 1) drop warchief, 2) pop flasks, 3) go HAM with conc effect shield charge. Fight should be a couple seconds long.

Thanks Demo. Didn't realize the flasks were so important. Taste of Hate is perhaps prohibitively expensive, but looking into it. Lion's Roar is pretty cheap. Blessed-ing the neck doesn't seem to accomplish much to me, especially since it's not a t1 phys roll on the neck and that's the piece I'm looking to replace.

Shields on Breach are incredibly scarce/expensive, and I unfortunately am JUST at resist cap and can't afford to give much up there.

What gems are most important to 20/20? I think Lion's Roar will make a huge difference. Also learning to go in/out for more shield charge damage I think.

Yep, since all boss fights just last a few secs (outside of guardians/shaper), the flasks are super important. Against t15 bosses/izaro, lion's really IS a "35% more" mod. You can definitely do without taste (especially on league), lion's is much more important. If I were you I'd get lion's + a good basalt with armour % in place of your rumis/life flask. That will be a huge boost.

Really since your gear is pretty good, it's just about sniping that next big upgrade (whether it's shield/ammy/boots). You really should just buy whatever you can get the biggest increase in stats for the lowest cost, since all of yours are decent but easily upgraded with a couple ex and some time.

Upgrade order to 20/20 for you should probably be blood rage > anything left on 6L > anything left on warchief 4L > both increased durations.

Hope this helps!
