Ahhh...not again. I like this game a lot, but these new coming updates and the nerfing of popular skills... and another skill tree wipe will be the end for me, I think. I guess a lot of you guys and girls will put up with it, are even excited by the coming changes and play on, but I have too many hours invested in the game already to just have it all wiped away. I don't want to have to start again, the last skill tree wipe was bad enough, thanks. I'm not sure whether my guild members will feel the same as I do, but as a lot of us are mature older players who have been around gaming for many many years, my guess is that we will probably just all migrate to a different game, there are plenty of choices. I'll wait and see what GGG and company comes up with in December, but for me, it's not looking too good. Whatever happens, it's been good playing PoE, I enjoy it. Thanks. |

Hot Damn!
As an older player whose been here since Open Beta, gotta say I love the constant updates. And as a casual player, challenge leagues are the best thing that keeps me going with something new occurring constantly (rather than having to harcore theorycraft some epic map build). " You do realise you don't have to start over, right? All time you've invested remains there in your inventory and stash and you can recreate your skill tree to very much the same as before with 123 clicks or less. Sure, some things in a build might break but it's very rare that a build becomes completely unplayable. |
