Rico: I remember you from Doeboy's thread. You made a DPS calculator spreadsheet there? I could use some help with the DPS calculator I've made in OP. Pretty sure it has plenty of bugs.

I really don't like empowering two purities. 95 Light res is only useful for facetanking the stormcalls at uber (at atziri phase, you can facetank the split phase calls with 88). I've found it easy enough to just dodge them. Likewise purity of fire is just useful for atziri. I don't even run it for regular mapping any more. And for atziri 100 fire res is better than 95 since it allows you to ignore the regular flameblasts and doesn't stop your es recharge in between phases.

Hey Matrix, with a 5L Voll's what gem should I leave out? Do you think build is still viable without Voll's Devotion? Have been playing your flask build to 93 in Hardcore Talisman. I'm looking forward to trying this build now.

I might look into it when I have time. At a first glance I'm not sure you've included 50% more attack speed from cyclone itself because number of hits seems to be off.

Drop Ice Nova, so it will looks like: Cyclone - CoC - Incrised Crit Strikes - Discharge - Life Leech. Use Blade Vortex with lvl 1 cwdt and in order to have EE effect going on without Ice Nova you must have "adds cold dmg to spells" on your dagger.

Without Volls Devo however dmg and leeching will suffer. Si if you want to play this without Volls Devo 6l Volls is recommended in order to place Blade Vortex there and grab more power charges from your tree. Without Volls Devo with 6l Volls Protector Cyclone - CoC - Incrised Crit Strikes - Blade Vortex - Discharge - Life Leech and 6-7 power charges you should be fine.

shouldnt trickster be the most op class by far? walk the aether means neither cyclone nor whirling blades will cost mana plus free permanent 20%ias, unless they change cyclone to be non-movement.

that means we can reserve all mana and not use elreon rings. thats huge

I have legacy surgeon Flasks and i changed now the colours from my chest.



1. how i have to put the skill gems into it, what order?
At the moment i have cyclone - inc crit - Lifeleech - Discharge - Freezing Pulse - Coc
Is that correct? Because of EE

2. Do you think Bladevortex is better then Freezing Pulse?

I like the idea of a third blue socket because i have many more options like inc aoe and so on.

3. What is about spell echo?
Does that work or are there no more charges left, because with volls devotion you normally should get instant charges and can maybe work.
But here my information is way to low.

You would do me a great favour if you can help me out.

first of all i would like to say that i have played this build with my 89 Witch and its fun and powerfull,
i wonder if replacing the the voll's protector with shav, + replacing one of the -8 mana with romiras ring, will get some good result?

This class will be very good with both a CI and hybrid version of the build, maybe even with dodge/spell dodge. Not only 0 mana problems but huge bonuses to energy shield ammount its recovery and attack speed. I'm not sure about 10% chance to gain frenzy charge on kill +1 max frenzy charges. It looks good, its "for free" but messes up EE chain. But overall... yeah.


Elementalist looks good from the offensive point of view (Mastermind of Discord!, Pendulum of Destruction!, Beacon of Ruin) but this new trickster might be a winner (Walk the Aether!, Ghost Dance, Shade Form!).

Hmmm, knowing GGG as we do, maybe we should all wait for the nerf stick to finish beating the most popular builds to death *before* we start theory crafting, aye?

Hopefully, they will be lenient and kind to us this time around. We shall see, fellow exiles.

So far works really good but I need to work on my proc chance (pointing finger at the lvl 19 Increased Crit Strikes with 0 quality).

Did u think about using Skyforth and Shavronnes ?
