[2.1.0] Grocery's Boss Destroyer BLAST RAIN Compendium! Phys2Ele Build!

im running chinsol+pointblank with blashpemy poachers mark with blast rain and im doing some fat deeps rn.

Holy shit. So originally I tested Blast Rain briefly before focusing on other builds to update first. This is quite possibly the most fun I have had in a long time with a bow build.

RoA is always fun, but Blast Rain just feels good. you can do phys reflect rolled maps ezpz with phys to lightning. If you take Vaal pact you should out leech everything because it does multiple hits, etc. It is pretty insane!

Will be posting a video guide today or tomorrow.

Increased AoE is really nice, but phys to lightning dps is absurd. I definitely see uses for both. Blast Rain dps is low on tooltip but screw the tooltip, it clears so ridiculously fast. You blow bosses up faster than any other bow skill that is not a vaal skill.

My experience as well, Blast Rain is fantastic damage on a 5-Link, as I mentioned. Going to pick up Vaal Pact soon, might help with survivability.

Vaal Pact is awesome it made running maps so easy for me. This build does not even need Point Blank for the damage.

My thoughts on Vaal Pact: You will need to run either Frenzy to get manual casted frenzy charges or Blood Dance Boots. I'm running Blood Dance right now with Vaal Pact and it is just awesome. I keep frenzy just in case on bosses but they usually die before it is necessary.

I definitely agree, I think im going to continue running increased AOE until i can 5L my chinsol because I can clear the trash mobs faster and I'm using caustic arrow+poison+rapid decay as a single target as a pseudo-puncture lol. When 5L it Ill definitely run both and will probably use blast rain to kill both single target and trash

Sounds like a good plan!

I just dropped Point Blank because it doesn't seem needed lol. Point Blank on HC is probably not a good idea unless you are playing tanky non-crit variant.

This beauty drops for me in Talisman, and it works insanely good. Preaty much with shitty gear like this :
I do tons of damage with only 10k tooltip ;) Inc aoe + 20% quality on BR made it whole area explosions ;P

Chinsol is great with this build :) Must be having a great time with it!

Does Chin Sol/Point Blank have some kind of special interaction with Blast Rain? Just wondering why you you would say it works well with this build over any other archer build (maybe cos your not shooting off screen like TS/LA?)

I'm currently 68 just doing T1-4 maps, seems capable. Regarding the tooltip dps, I agree it definately does more than the tooltip, would you say it does 4x the amount on mobs that get hit by all 4 arrow AOEs?

I also couldn't agree more in regards to how the build feels to play, especially with slower proj. there is a satisfying delay before everything gets blown to pieces. Feels like a mortar.

Also, how do you feel about running a golem/siege balista? Its nice having something to distract the more tanky mobs.
