When I hit 65 I saw ur comment several pages back about Chin-Sol and did a facepalm; promptly went and picked up a decent rolled one for a chaos (my total wealth at that time was 6c, a few fuse and chroms.....RNG hasn't been kind to me this league).

I then got to thinking......hmmmmm 100% MORE damage up close. Time to break out ye'ole Blasphemy + Ass Mark combo. Add in Hot and AA for a bit of mitigation and had fun as a melee archer until I FINALLY could afford my VR......at lvl 85!! o_0 !!!

Well I just equipped my Voltaxic & Snakebites and the damage has gotten a tad better.

I added the Static Electricity Jewel to the Jewel socket on the right side of the tree near the Frenzy Charge...I have 7 Frenzy Charges now and just looking for a budget chest to try and progress some more with the build...I just picked up first poison node for the fatal toxin cluster and I feel like that is the way to start from here...

I need to get 6 sockets for my voltaxic and try and 5link but need the currency so I need to farm some dried lake or crypt for a little bit.

Are there any budget chest recommendations? I just found my 3rd Exalt and trying to save up for Kaoms Heart. Also could someone check my gear and give me some feedback on what I can do in my tree to improve my damage and survivability? I was thinking on picking up Acrobatics but don't I need like a pure evasion chest to benefit from it? I went Armor/EV Hybrid chest to help me with some mitigation from when damage hits me even though the roll is low.

thanks for the help...It felt better leveling with a bower when I got a +2 bow for 3c.

Man u have terrible gear :o

If u have 1ex try to get some 5-6c rings + amu with Life+Wed+Resi maybe. Don't look at crit for now, it can wait till lvl 80. Also rings should be with 40+ life (60+ better). Quiver is also very bad. Try to find some quiver with 80+ life, WED and maybe flat lightning/attack speed. Belt with WED+life...

Kaom is good but u don't need it right now, u really need to upgrade gear 1st. Your current gear looks like self found at cruel act2.


about chest - 400+ EVA 5L white. Roll HP + resi.

DPS in this build is 50% from tree and 50% from gear. Rings/Amu/Belt/Quiver with WED is rly important.

I think Vitality Void is quite useful, especially for those who lacks DPS.

Man, your gear is very bad indeed. I wouldnt dare to equip Voltaxic with such equip. I got some decent gear pieces for several chaos each first, capped resists, got cheap Qgems, etc. Then i got Voltaxic, 5-linked, BTW.

I feel like I improved my gear a bit with my minimum currency...I picked up the two stone ring/bought a 5link evasion chest/found the boots which seemed pretty good and I rolled life on them...

So far it feels a lot better with 7 Frenzy charges but I am curious if it is worth that long travel for the life near marauder for Warrior's blood? I am to the point where I am level 71 and trying to figure out what is the most efficient thing to get first..do I get the Jewel socket above Blood Drinker or do I start traveling toward Warrior's Blood? Just seems inefficient to waste 6 points just on traveling even though the strength nodes help gain a little more life.

I want to get my 6 socket on my voltaxic but like I said currency is scarce right now so trying to get some more jewelers orbs before I start throwing them at voltaxic.

I appreciate all this help everyone...I am sorry I am such a noob when it comes to this build but I am learning as I am going. So far it has been getting stronger in time..I am leveling up a Q10 Blood rage currently & I will be leveling my Q9 Ass Mark when I get a free blue socket...

I was thinking on Dropping the WED on my 4 link Frenzy setup for Ecry and just have frenzy>Ecry>incDur>SummonIceGolem

I am just going to run dried lake to level 80 until I find more currency or better gear...I don't mind spending a little currency but I paid 8c for my TwoStone and 3c for my chest and found my boots which were all upgrades...I know I should replace my Elreon ring but the -6 reduce mana cost is quite helpful because of the mana constraints...the 5link helped out a lot more adding chain and GMP together.

Hey currently level 69 with the build. I find that my tooltip DPS is quite low despite having a Tabula Rasa 6L. Im sitting at 2.9K DPS with no buffs. I have not yet gotten Snakebites as im waiting on finding better gear to make up for the resists and stats to equip my gems.

Would you mind looking at my gear and letting me know where the problem lies?

I am doing 5.7k dps using Snakebites & Voltaxic even with my LA on a 5link. I think the tooltip isn't something to look at.

I am able to kill things and blast rain single target which is hit or miss...when I get my 5link on my voltaxic then blast rain will feel a lot more destructive.

U need go to the scion life nodes anyway. I advice to pick marauder nodes first cause total life regen 4+% with bloodrage looks pretty nice. And i repeat... u pick crit nodes too early! Also u still need to regret a lot of points between ranger and shadow areas (near vaal pact). Don't die with yours low life pool =/

If u have mana problems - u can buy jewel +2 mana gained on hit and maybe some %life or damage.

U still have terrible quiver belt and amu. Amu and quiver is most important items for dps in this build so you should change it asap.

Amu:
Multiplier, Wed, Life. - minimum
Multiplier, Wed, Life, Chance, Flat lightning - perfect

Quiver spike-point:
Multiplier, Wed, Life - minimum
Multiplier, Wed, Life, Chance, Attack speed or wed - good

Belt:
WED, Life, Resistances.
