PoE's performance is poor for a lot of people

GGG, your biggest social voice, ZiggyD, posted a video of him running the lab, and the performance is AWFUL.

Absolutely disgusting, freezes and frame drops every other second when he's wandering about. This is not a small fry with a laptop. He has a very powerful PC, and is one of your biggest advertisers.

Beware, people will tell you to leave the game if you are enlightening too much issues from this game.
Pas ici pour rendre service ;).
Un jeu avec autant de qualités que de défauts, malheureusement ignorés et soutenus par une marée de supporters nolifes sans aucune objectivité.
For me(i5 4670k + r9 290) the game has reached the point when running back and forth on stairs near the statue in Sarn makes my FPS drop from 300 to ~20. Quality content
Nothing here
+1 it's getting bad with every patch. I'm okay with few months without new mtxs, witch they release every damn week. Or wait for act 5 for few months, just that i can actually play the game. Right now i give up on trying different OSs, or drivers or even different PCs. It's unplayable and pretty frustrating. I really hope they look into this.
Lab is causing people to quit.
Xp system makes people quit.
Nerfs make people quit.

But nothing is making as many people quit like its continued poor performance. This is the number 1 issue. GGG is no longer an infact company putting out a product and can no longer get away with the poor performance of POE. It is time to divert major resources to fixing the games performance.
I have a 3.2 GHz hexcore i7 with 24GB RAM, a 4GB Geforce GTX960, and a 7200 RPM Seagate HD. Up until last week, I would launch PoE and then take a shower, make dinner, or catch up on personal email. By the time I was done, PoE would've booted into town. Then all I had to do was wait for it find my hideout. But this week, PoE loads in seconds and is ready to map within a minute. What changed?

I installed Win7 and PoE on an SSD.

Conclusion: PoE is nearly unplayable on a hard disk. An SSD should be considered a requirement.

Fix the game, or make the lab? Well, we know which one they chose.

Meh... was thinking about upgrading my PC for PoE, but after reading this I'm not so sure it would help since what you described is what I wanted to fix (and would buy a similar CPU)- drops from 100+ to 20-30, not being able to play on 6-man parties, etc... -, I really hope x64 and DX11 somehow alleviates this.

Could this be caused by memory speed?
