It would do more damage, but I'd say stick with the rare until you can get another one you can get higher damage and cast speed on. I'm currently at 8.3k DPS with a 4-Link Infernal Mantle, lvl 77. I see people having 12k+ with a 4-link, I know I'm missing some dps on my jewelry but my wand is decent. What do I miss to boost the dps? I'm currently doing 72s' and this is my first character at this level so I did not know what to expect and how to invest towards endgame maps. Do you still use rain of splinters, is it worth it? I see you don't run Lyoneses, don't you think it is worth either? Also, do you guys think it is worth running a damage aura like herald since it'll reserve life? Guess it's ok to do so when running very low risk content but don't know about endgame.
