[2.2 Video Guide] Beginner's Build: Dual Flame Totem, Blood Magic Chieftain [Atziri & HC/SC Viable]

Hi, started this build after I quit as an Ice Crash marauder at level 40. I transitioned into MF slowly. Now I'm looking to change my boots for unique nubucks because I'm sitting on 372 IIR and 22 IIQ. Finding a decent group as a solo player is damn near impossible. Hope to cull enough to save up for another build at the moment.

Level 85 at the moment on Warband. IGN @Tasane. PM if you want to hook up for some high level map culling on EU.

killed her at level 83 with 14k tooltip dps ( 28k with dual totems I guess :))
This is my gear. it's really cheap under 3ex. the only expensive thing here is 5L infernal mantle.
(Which is also happen to be very cheap in standard lague)

1. Does increase elemental damage increase chaos damage? I am guessing not.

2. Does increase in elemental damage and fire damage increase chaos damage If I have Infernal mantle and The consuming dark (100% fire converted to chaos)?

1. No it doesnt , not directly anyways since chaos isn't considered as an element.
2. This is how it works, elemental damage buffs increase fire damage , THEN fire damage is converted to chaos damage , so it works in an indirect way as the conversion is done after fire damage has already been buffed.

I'm 65 and got 3.4k dps w herald... 4.1k life tho so I hope soem noods will boost.

Hey, so what should you use for an infernal mantle 6L that has 3 red sockets and 4 blue sockets?

since I obviously can't use faster projectiles what should I use or what would you suggest using? I have been using added lightning damage for now, but maybe something else would be better?

Also, what do you think about three dragons with this build to get shock stacks going?

BTW, Anger seems to be giving a lot more dps than herald of Ice + thunder. Probably because of all the fire damage nodes and +1lv to fire grms in The consuming dark.

8647dps with heralds and 9206dps with anger.

Is it in anyway useful for this build?
Can I save skilling Blood Magic with this or is this just crap in late game?

I'm level 80 and doing maps well but this is only my second character and I am having some trouble reaching a higher tooltip value. I want to get at least 12k or so before attempting atziri. If someone can have a look over my gear and maybe suggest what I'm missing. I run dual wield right now and have just over 10kdps with my Lioneye's Remorse its closer to 8.5k. I'm confused how people are hitting 14k++ on tooltip dps without specing crit or more heavily dps in passive points. Anyway here is my gear, any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

I know my sockets are slightly off on my chest (having trouble rolling 2r 1g 1b on pure int chest) and my "added chaos dmg" is under leveled so I am going to swap that in for the "added lighting dmg" as soon as its a dps upgrade.
