Yes, you have to take that node if you want to gain power charges with Heg Era, however, I personally didn't focus on crit nodes till late late-game, around lvl 80. I focused on life and base phys dps primarily, then on crit (besides, I didn't get Heg Era till lvl90 anyway).

Ok thank you! I'm going for Blunt Trauma at lvl 68. That's my second character in this league (Warbands), I have nice levelling gear, I don't need more flat damage or survibility right now. I really just want to rush and have fun with this character. Btw I've never had such a high tooltip dps at this stage of the game (lvl 57 end of act 1 merciless), 18k dps with tabula and a nice 2h rare sword is crazy.

Build is ton of fun.

I now have read the first pages of the thread but haven't found the answers to what I'm wondering right now. What about some other unique items? I think I'm going to try a Daresso's Defiance as armor, if mana is not a problem with onslaught. Right now mana is fine. I was thinking of Abyssus too but not both at the same time, I would lack life and resists.

By the way CWDT + Phase Run is great! I did not think of this combination before reading it here.

edit: I just thought that Carcass Jack could be good too. But it's Eva/es not Armor.

Ok I'm lvl 64, testing Daresso's Defiance since lvl 63, works pretty well so far.

Daresso's is ok, but IMO, it's sub-optimal, since your chest is the biggest source of flat armour you can get. But if you're satisfied, go for it, ofc. :)

I'm gonna finish up Vitality Void for the leech, and then probably get the jewel socket next to Golem's blood. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi. How is this build compare to your other Ice Crash build ([2.0]1H+Aegis IceCrash/Inf.Blow/StaticStrike Max Block&Spell Block Tank, Atziri Killer+a BoR version)?
