Divination Card Update

Is it just me, but it feels like its going to be a hassle keeping track of so many divination cards, for what seems, primarily, meager rewards. Do I really want to collect/keep track of 5 cards for lifespring, 6 cards for a two stone ring, and hundreds of other card types that are about to hit. I have a feeling we are going to ignore/run past most of these.

the art for three faces in the dark is legit.

however... seeing the next two cards art was rather underwhelming.. why are they comic book style art? atleast thats what im seeing. idk maybe im wrong.

hopefully art on these cards go towards the very first cards we saw and the three faces in the dark. they fit the game more in my humble opinion :)

really like the cards overall tho!

I like the card designs but I don't really love the concept itself. I'm not a hater - just wonder about some things:

1. So high-level endgame folks are gonna be spending their time, say, farming the Ledge on Cruel Difficulty. If that's the case, seems categorically LAME

2. Tons of clutter in the public groups / trade chat for people spamming card sales

3. Has that chore-ish kind of World of Warcraft feel - "now go kill the beasts roaming here and collect 5 of these things"

Who knows, I could be dead wrong. I'm sure Awakening will be amazing either way

do you really think this concept is to enhance gameplay, for our benefit and what the players want? no it is just an alternative way for GGG to raise a some 'higher class' money from the early act 4 hype, nothing more. this probably is a simpler replacement of the concept of supporter uniqs, which made a lot more sense, but was too resource draining for GGGs team.

and pls, you know the thought of this having anything to do with high lvl endgame is laughable... chris even said a while back that act 4 content won't have much (if any?) high lvl end game content and that it will come later.

the sad part is as shags pointed out is that the botters are probably giddy and drooling over this concept the most.

Botters generally sell to RMT sites. If you don't support the RMT sites, why do you care? Maybe you should learn more about botting and how the programs that're out there work and try to find clever ways to locate them via coding in order to help GGG stop botters if you care so much?

Such negativity and cynicism. GGG is doing more for this game than most "AAA" games out there.

GGG has been hiring more and more people too, so talking about resource draining doesn't make sense as they're gaining resources. Maybe they're human beings and wanted to mix it up, try something new? You know, the thing GGG does all the time?

This absolutely has something to do with end game. You think Divination Cards won't drop ever in maps? Give me a break. You do realize that GGG has all the data as to where players spend their time and what they're doing and how they're doing it, right? You think they just make up random things and say "I have no data to back up why we're doing this but we're just gonna do it anyway, whatever!!!lolol!"

Sorry man, but you haven't been paying attention to how GGG operates. If you're coming from D3, I understand why you have the mentality you do. Maybe you need to incorporate some positive thinking into your lifestyle instead of this crazy cynicism you're in to.

telling it like it is and having different set of opinions other than waving pom pom from time to time isnt a bad thing or even part of 'negativity'.. try to look at different sides indeed, [Removed by Support]

It would be nice if those submitting cards could see what's so far being reserved, and consider then steering away and doing something else.

Would also be nice if the inventory image was a scaled down version of the card. Right now they all appear to use the same image which may become a stash nightmare. I get that the small version won't be very easy to make out, but looking unique will be nice, just like not all maps have the same image, you won't want all cards to use the same image either
Awesome! Well done.

can't wait to see how much currency cards will come out and how it will affect the economy on standard. C:

Someone actually paid 1100$ to make a LIFESPRIG card? Holy shiet. On top of that Lifesprig requires equally many cards as 3x Chaos orbs? Are lifesprig seeing a mage buff or what?

Way to read. The stack sizes are placeholders. Not only that, even if they are the same number of cards, the drop frequency may be different.

Someone actually paid 1100$ to make a LIFESPRIG card?

Quite funny, you have to farm 5cards and then go to act 4 to trade those cards to NPC what will give you lifesprig. But wand is good for leveling but at level 40 you will probably allready have better.
had a nice idea about card storage built upon a suggestion of a "card deck", thought i would link it here.

Awesome stuff!

Especially like the Lifesprig one, it is a very useful unique, perfect for leveling any caster char! Hope they are reasonably easy to farm :D

does anyone else feel like this?

That is about the dumbest thing I have ever watched on Youtube...and I've watched a lot of dumb shit.

On topic: the artwork looks great, although 5 cards yielding a Lifesprig?...seriously? Seems like they'll be automatically ignored/vendored.
Still in the alpha stage, but at least build diversity isn't an issue: https://wolcengame.com/home/
the ring looks like it would be great for the chaos recipe however I doubt the chaos will drop common enough to be of much valve.

People give the wand crap now but that card is going to drop A LOT. I suspect it will be so common people will turn it off in loot filterers, people will complain how all they get is hermits, who know people might start to use hermates a a currency since you can stack large amounts on top of each other?

oh well, sucks to suck.
