Nobody "wins" anything.
Pay to win:
When you can pay real money to gain advantage in a game.
Testing new content = getting information and routine = advantage when the update hits the prod servers and the new leagues start.

If anything we "top supporters" paid to do free work for them.
Understandable, but you're also getting an advantage before everyone else.
Sure I think it would be fine if there wasn't no ladders with leagues because there would be no competition.. But that's just not the case, it makes it unfair.
Also, if any one the real supporters showed ANY TYPE OF COMPASSION they would donate or give their KEY back to GGG because they don't want to hinder the equal level playing field. I see none of that. It's insane the entitlement you guys feel you must have just because you have donated a specific amount of money.
It's sickening.

What's going on guys? This is my first post in months.
After reading all 100+ pages all i have to say is, the tears in this thread alone could form a new ocean.
If only you guys applied this much dedication to your real lives.
The tears in this thread should not form an ocean, but should tell GGG that they're hurting their loyal playerbase. Not everyone is Rich and can donate thousands to get into a beta.
No one has done that. I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, but when I bought my pack I did not see anything about being granted future beta access.
I bought my pack because I wanted to buy my pack. GGG said "thanks" at a later time. No one bought a pack to get into the beta.

Since many of you will have lots and lots of free time while you WAIT for the beta content to be open, here is a great cookie recipe:
Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies (makes about 4 dozen!!)
Ingredients
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (12 ounces)
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped (optional)
Directions
Heat oven to 350° F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugars on medium-high speed until fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. One at a time, beat in the eggs, then the vanilla. Reduce speed to low and gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just combined (do not overmix). Mix in the chocolate chips and nuts (if desired) by hand.
Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of the dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake, rotating the baking sheets halfway through, until golden around the edges but still soft in the center, 12 to 15 minutes. Cool slightly on the baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
You're welcome.
Is there any difference in taste if i used normal salt?
Yes, Kosher salt is much larger than regular salt, and cooks differently, fortunately, the saltiest salters that aren't in this thread, gave us a conversion chart.

Yeah because someone who hasn't dueled the Vaal boss and knows his slam is definitely at an advantage than someone who has fought him before, right?
Yep, that makes total sense /s.
Oh my, you'll have to take 10 seconds to see his attacks before going in to fight him? It's a travesty, I say!
I learned more about defeating Vaal from reading forum posts than I did playing against him. Humans have language and can share their knowledge. The knowledge can be obtained from many sources a lot faster than it can be figured out by a single person.
This is why we have schools instead of just throwing kids out into the real world.
If we consider beta player playing 4 hours a day, for 50 days, that's 200 hours of playing time. At the current U.S. Federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour, that's $1,450 dollars that the beta tester could be earning instead.
Players not in the beta could be working and getting faster computers, or buy a top tier supporter pack next round with that kind of money.
So, by the standards of logic used in most complaint posts in this thread, I hearby declare the following to be fact:
Players not in the beta have a competitive advantage! No one can deny it, because I will use the logic of repeated denial and reassertion to prove my point.
By my unquestionably valid logical powers (even Spock would blush at them) I have deducted that GGG will issue the following decree:
"
Chris wrote:
Because reasons, Fact: Awakening beta players are at a competitive disadvantage. You cannot deny this!!!. When the Awakening is officially released, the closed beta players will be given 2 weeks of first access, so the playing field is equal.
MFW Anyone complaining about this will have their RNG set to minimum.
Top keks lel lel.
This is totally fair, I know right? We are also thinking that the players not in the beta should have to share their $1,450 dollars with the beta players. Tomorrow's news post is GGG's contributin for Earth Day. We will have a poll about whether or not players should have to clean up all the dead bodies they kill. We understand this will slow down the game, but recycling those dead bodies is important!
( for those new to the forum - the above is NOT what Chris said - it's a joke - using the absurdity of some positions taken in this thread by various posters to illustrate how bizarre the logic of their posts are. Chris would never say anything like this.

Yes. That is fine since you didn't know. It's technically not your fault. It's just GGG's decision is what is bothering me.

You know they aren't releasing all of the content on the beta server right? The beast is under wraps until release bro, Chill the F out.

This doesn't matter though. there is still content that CB players will have access to and will beable to strategize around before non CB players. that is not a fair equal level playing field.
