The Awakening Item Page and Top-Tier Supporter Beta Access

This. In my opinion true supporter is someone who buys stuff from the shop at full price (not when its on sale and definitely not buying points bundled with a "pack").
What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... Oh wait!
/Talisman League(2015/2016)
Oh look, Synthesis League(2019) = Talisman League all over again.
What's going on guys? This is my first post in months.
After reading all 100+ pages all i have to say is, the tears in this thread alone could form a new ocean.
If only you guys applied this much dedication to your real lives.
The tears in this thread should not form an ocean, but should tell GGG that they're hurting their loyal playerbase. Not everyone is Rich and can donate thousands to get into a beta.

The fuck does it matter if I am a racer? How is that even relevant or change the fact that closed-beta-supporters have a few month advantage over the game towards new players at launch? That's objective fact.
Item 1) I don't see the top tier racers in here complaining about this.
Item 2) The people who usually end up at the top of the races aren't alpha players who do have early access.
Item 3) Many of the racers/competitors near the top are usually the same group of people.
Your argument is subjective opinion, not objective fact. The consensus opinion from many discussions of this issue was that being in the beta or in the alpha did not give any player a significant advantage. Just to clarify that - they didn't get any advantage that mattered.
In short, your argument is:
As well as this we don't get to see the final boss until it's released so everyone will be on a "level playing field" in that respect. The beta is going to constantly change, what people know at the end of beta will be a lot different to the knowledge they need to gather at the start of a new league when the awakening is released. Good players adapt to the league and meta immediately.
Yes, some elements of the beta will remain in the core game but it's going to be very fundamental things and hopefully not game breaking mechanics overlooked by GGG. People should be able to immediately adapt to fundamental changes in a game(such as the jewel system), I think most of us know how that works already. On top of this i'm pretty sure most people who want in will eventually get into beta

Not one of GGG's top supporters knew they would reward us in this way, it's not the reason we got supporter packs you really have to realise that and grow up a bit.

Get off your high horse buddy. You can try to justify it in any way you want to, it won't change the fact it's p2w

You are actually better off too, there are is now a good number of people not in the random drawing to get into the beta.
I think you're thinking about the beta fundamentally wrong though, it's not about being able to play the new content earlier, it's about testing to new content so GGG can release the best possible product. To that end people who have given large amounts of money are probably more invested in that than people who haven't.
Either way you have to ask yourself, is it really a big deal, or are you just grumpy because this didn't get you in.
If anything we "top supporters" paid to do free work for them.

Since many of you will have lots and lots of free time while you WAIT for the beta content to be open, here is a great cookie recipe:
Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies (makes about 4 dozen!!)
Ingredients
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (12 ounces)
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped (optional)
Directions
Heat oven to 350° F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugars on medium-high speed until fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. One at a time, beat in the eggs, then the vanilla. Reduce speed to low and gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just combined (do not overmix). Mix in the chocolate chips and nuts (if desired) by hand.
Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of the dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake, rotating the baking sheets halfway through, until golden around the edges but still soft in the center, 12 to 15 minutes. Cool slightly on the baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
You're welcome.
Is there any difference in taste if i used normal salt?

This guy is 100% right.
The beta is there to help GGG make a better game for you to play.
Not about the early access to new Content.
Just my 2 cents for free.
