Geh, you're right, it says gems, not just skills >.< Then I second the people in this thread wondering why it even mentions that the skill is level 1. It could just leave mention of the level off of the item. That seems dumb. At least all the other support gems work....

Don't forget that we need survivability.... With those uniques attached, we obviously need some base ES. The helm provides none. A chain belt can't have int, so we may want perandus? But that leaves only our gloves, boots, and chests to have base ES from. We could argue shav's, but 6% increased int doesn't sound appealing when we already have have so little base int and so much ES. So I think we'd want mirrored chest, gloves, and boots, for max ES plus max (50) int per item. With a perfect legacy astramentis, that gives us 300 int from gear, and 6 unique items equipped. So 18% per ring plus 15%, 51% increased int. So we'd need 367 int from he tree (including the int we start with, of course) to hit 1k int while still having a non-idiotically-low ES pool. And if you went with *everything* I just said, you'd also need to be CI.

(with 3 mirrored pieces, I think all four purities would make up your missing resists. And herald of ice would provide a super-marginal benefit on top if you really felt the need for it)

Questions:
Does ice storm share firestorms quality trait of decreasing the interval between ice shards?
Will it be supportable by cast when damage taken gem at level 1?
Is that middle skill spoiler chaos golem? ;D
Will this be one of those super rare drops like shavs?

Suggestion:
The only thing id change is 2% increased spell damage per 10 int instead of 1%. 1.5% if possible.

Evil Plan if yes to cwdt:
level 1 Cast when damage taken - ele prolif - ice storm - ice pen - duration
firestorm - echo - leech - fire pen - add cold - enhance
vaal storm call - echo - duration - light pen

Prepare for the storm of the century. Even if cwdt no, still awesome.

As someone else noted when I brought up Enhance in the thread, that only works on active skill gems (this is not a gem), so it's impossible to get a quality bonus on this skill :/ Really makes it dramatically worse, imo.
Dunno if this has been suggested, but the elegant solution here would be an in-game wiki of unique items. When you acquire a unique item, you unlock its entry, and this could give slightly more in-depth information about the item (such as one or two example uses).

Shouldn't take too much work to put together and would be an extremely helpful feature for newer players.

This is how i would do it if i was in charge:

"OK people, we are working on act 4, it should come out in first half of May. Atm you have 1 month leagues, after that we will have XY happening until act 4 is deployed. If we run into some troubles and we need to delay act 4 release we will inform you, ty"

Thats how normal people would do it imo and there wouldnt be shitstorm on forum, unless ofc they will take shitstorm as people pressence in lack of any other interesting things to :)

the wiki is frequently out of date or just wrong. also, if the game had a database, you could look something up by just clicking on it, and it would take you directly to information only about that specific item (such as what tier mods it has, what tier mods it can possibly have, the ranges a divine could roll, etc)

all that stuff is extremely annoying to look up with any of the existing methods, and the information you find on those third party sources is inaccurate and incomplete. it would be MUCH better, in many ways, to have an official source inside the game.
To those in a rage over the date tidbit, i would remind you that it was originally stated that it would occur in April. "later this year" is a vague reference, and in no way dis-confirms the original vague April reference. If your wondering when this April reference was made, GO LOOK FOR IT. Dun go flyin off the handles for no reason, you need to remember they only start these little spoilers and hints when the date is approaching. Also they wouldn't end forsaken master packs unless its approaching. Look for the usual habits.
