" I couldn't agree more on that last sentence. What is the reasoning behind "uniques can't be taunted" ? Would it be OP ? Trash mobs / blue / rare die too fast so I only see the taunt being useful with uniques (with the current meta). Or maybe you want us to run crazy maps in HC ? I would be happy to see a change in the meta in that direction, with a buff to rewards in dangerous maps. Then taunt could be useful with rare mobs that enchant trash mobs next to him, or even blue packs of devourers with powerful crit (sic). At the moment, there is too much of that crap "do easy maps, and do it fast". Maybe it is time to slow down the game, so that we can have the time to use secondary skills like warcry and enjoy killing things with a strategy ? The skill mechanics seem to be nice and they just look great! Please, Keep up the work on the taunt mechanics! I really hope that it will find its way into the game. Would be very nice to form groups with tanky characters that can attract enemys while shielding the mages and archers 8-)
One Question to the Developers: Can your Engine turn monsters and/or players temporary into 'ghosts' that can walk through other models? I'm thinking of the mechanic used in raging skulls which are not attacked by monsters and can't affect monsters movement. Maybe the taunt mechanic can turn monsters or players into something similar, letting monsters walk though characters that are blocking their way. With such a mechanic the monsters in Jasons example would walk through the character blocking the doorway and could attack the one who was taunting them.
