Race Season Ten Prizes, Patch 1.3.0k and Cheating

More serious than a cheat that renders the outcome of an entire competitive series, with outcome dependent prizes, questionable?

Please, tell me again about these 'more serious cheats'.

How about cheats that allow you to manipulate your damage, health, and player location? Not to mention the possible dupe exploits. Trust me, not trusting the client solves a lot more problems than it creates.
3912 holy crit! Good for me I didn't do much of the racing this season.

I'm not going to re post my other epic post out of the desync thread again. It's the first post on page 32 if you're interested.

Basically I point out that there's a big difference between trusting the client and giving the client authority. In addition to an in depth discussion of what desync is, and what causes it, I discuss several possible implementations which might simultaneously resolve desync by giving the client authority without trust, and still maintain a relatively high level of cheat prevention. Next.

Nothing better than seeing cheaters get wrecked.

but did you actually see that? :)
Ban hammer away. After kicking the cheaters out, lets add some quality of life improvements for those of use that are still around.
Warning? Hmm seems rather easy-going on these guys. Will anything happen similar to project "rust storm" to help adjust the inflated prices?
GGG's stance on cheating and the ToU haven't changed in quite some time. So my question is as follows:

Why did GGG decide NOT to ban these accounts, when they clearly broke the ToU?

sad thing - without that reddit post - nothing would have been done

people were cheating for demis for years now. people were using and are still using this kind of sw for economy gains, reputation gains and all other kinds of shaddy stuff. people told you about it, sent proof etc. for nothing. if it wasnt that reddit post..

and the saddest part is - in most cases people caught were the ones actually using this stuff 'casually' as the 'pros' were and are smart enough to not use public stuff
