Hi,

I really like this build, but at the same time I am torn between choosing self-cast, or going for a totem/trap/mine setup.

Can someone here please explain to me what the major difference in pro's and cons is in self-cast compared to totem/trap/mines?

I guess one thing would be better movement options (shieldcharge) when going for totems/traps/mines?

If I look at my delve build in PoB, Spiritual aid gives me 1.7% damage per point (6 points)
It's more or equal to anything else on the tree

And if you use Spiritual aid, you can use Lord of the Dead, which is better than crit nodes. It makes Spiritual aid the single best damage node on the tree.

Thanks for the response Enki. Regarding weapon mods, you mention that resist penetration and % damage as additional chaos damage are the high end ones we should try to get. Is one of them much better than the other? I saw that items with the chaos damage one all cost multiple exalts while the resist penetration is slightly cheaper.

"extra chaos" is better than anything else
But in betrayal GGG nerfed that mod by 50%
So you can only get t1 "10% extra chaos" on ilvl84+ weapons instead of 20%

Use Path of building to compare a different weapons, it's the only way to know for sure what's better.
I have a question regarding the cost of this build, mainly Inpulsa. Is there any other popular builds that requires Inpulsa? It seems Arc mine/totem/trap need it as well, which would make the price of it rockets. While I also read those builds cannot trigger Inpulsa's explosion?
