You can no longer use skills that require a specific weapon if you are dual-wielding and one of your equipped weapons is unsuitable for that skill. For example, you will no longer be able to use Reave with a dagger and sceptre equipped. This change means that the popular "stat-stick" strategies will no longer work for attacks.

So with the new change stating that if dual wielding weapons, both weapons have to be able to use the skill.

Does dagger allow the use of leap slam? If not, leap slam will not be an option.
Does scepter allow the use of whirling blades? If not, whirling blades will not be an option

Quick link to leap slam and whirling blades:

Update: You have to use either 2 daggers or 2 specters. No mixing.

Excellent work , thank you. I did a dry run through this over the last few days and found it fantastic.

One quick q though (isn't there always!).

I note that during levelling through to Act 10 the skill tree takes you through spell crit strike chance (north east of Arcanist's Domination). The level 80 passives link then shows you taking Minion damage and Lord of the dead. Is this intended as a points redistribution @ or before lvl 80?

Many thanks.
Good build but I have a single Passive Tree question: Why not go 2 Passives further to get Redemption? Why are we not taking 12% extra flat DMG?

@Speshaul
The minion damage path wouldn't really do anything for us before taking Spiritual Aid, so until then it's better to go through the crit to make proccing Elemental Overload a bit easier.

@Tyroflion
We'd have to drop two other nodes, which would give atleast equal DPS or other important stuff.

Hey! I played beta, and into launch on an old account, but haven't played since then. Played the last week of Delve just to get a feel for the game again. So much has changed/been added... I mean, there were only 3 acts the last time I played!

Going to use this build to start the Betrayal league! I can tell a ton of time and effort was put into this build, and I really appreciate it! The Act by Act walkthrough is going to be especially helpful for me.

Thanks for the build, and enjoy the new league. Cheers! <3
Looks sick!
great build :3

What's the point of minion nodes again?

[Pasting an answer from Enki:]

Sorry, just missed that one. The Celestial nodes are still part of the build, just kept them for a higher level. Going for Spiritual Aid first allows players to use Bone Helmets for another cheap damage boost instead of having to buy an enchant, and make use of minion damage on jewels or on weapons from temple/fossil/essences.
