question: would it be good to get rid of unset ring and get an other opal ring instead with a wrath essence on it at some point? and do you have any high gear ideas for high level maps ?(13+)

I am a class noob.

Can you run a 1H and Shield for this build pre super late game? Prefer to have movement speed since Flame Dash feels so boggy at lower levels.

@Manaah: I guess you mean Essence Worm right? Wrath would still outclass it damage-wise, but it would give you another potential liferoll and maybe some mana regen.
If you need those stats and don't plan to run a Watcher's Eye with Wrath mods, then go for it.

For high maps you really don't need any special gear, getting the right enchants will be more helpful there. Just orientate on my linked gear, add in some new potential Shaper or Elder mods (Block on gloves, Spellblock amulet etc) to get an idea.

@FissFiss: Possible yes, but with as little attack speed this build gets, your movement skill would be straight up slower than walking with Onslaught and Quicksilver up.
Just look out for a pair of boots with 30% Movespeed, get the flask nodes, flask duration on belt and roll a proper Quicksilver and you'll even outrun some peoples movement skills.

Fighting the boss of Gardens Map, sallazzang, I had to take out the descrate gem so he doesn't have as many corpse to eat. Does that make sense or am I just imagining how things work?

That's indeed how it works. Never had any issues with that myself, but that's probably also because i do that map once and then never again.

On an unrelated sidenote, i've only today realized the Wrath leech mod on Watcher's Eye is mana, not life, so been facetanking bosses in Abyss all this time without any life leech at all, even did some Uber Lab carries..

Brand new player here, on xbox one. Just hit lvl 70. Are there any new belts with sockets in them that you recommend?

New PoE player here.. In the gem setup, do the gems need to have the exact line-up of colours on the sockets or can I use a 5L that is blue-blue-red-blue-blue and put the LifeLeech gem in the middle?

@Skwrrl: Not recommending the unique Stygian Vise since Flask Duration on belt is such a vital mod for us, but you can definitely get a rare one and use a nice Abyss jewel with life and some DPS stats in it. Gonna add a small note in the gear section.

@Pondus81: Doesn't really matter. Only time where gem order matters is with trigger gems, where the spells are triggered in order starting from closest to the gem and then following same order as linked sockets.

Your character tab is private so i can't check, but i'm sure there's room for mastercrafted resistances on your gear, either with Haku or Elreon. You can also use a Granite Flask if you really struggle with high physical damage, it will be a bit more effective than a Basalt at these low levels.

Thanks for the tips! I've set my tab to public now! I got my Basalt flask now, but its a hard roll to get the affixes right on point! I'll try to get Goldrim/flasks. I always try to keep my gear at same level as I am progressing but not always that fortunate, how is my current setup/gems ?
I'm on Act 8 now, maybe some more chaos resistance would help..

This is my first season, having a blast with this build (also with this game) reminds me hard of my lighting/nova Sorc back in the days.
