Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary
@Mentoya
Red maps and and Conquerers weren't hard. I personally didn't get to push it far due to the lack of time but AL5 was easily optainable with not so good gear. Would definitely recommend, it's a lot fo fun! @Enki Take all the time you need, we are super grateful for all the amazming work you are doing. Can't wai to see the updates, much love <3 |

Dear Enki, first of all thank you for the continuously great guide.
I think you need to care less about community opinion. Since I started following the build, you swapped LW to leapslam, seemingly just because people disliked it, then now you are talking about going EB MOM because of mana issues (that are honestly solved completely with an enduring manaflask) and then you talk about ditching three dragons because "elitists wont shut up about it".. fuck them man, you are the AUTHORITY, literally everyone who wants to know about arc comes here. Teach them, dont give in to pressure :D that said who am i to tell you what to do either. After all you can do whatever you want. I really like the current 3.9 version, currently im running it in standard SSF and having fuck tons of fun. Just one question though, the golems seem to die too much , like 1-2 times per map, (alched tier 9-11 maps, level 19/0 golems)is that normal or am I just bad ? lol |

" I guess it will be the 4th time I start a new league with this build, so I can tell you: no one but enki decides what to do with his build ....before the LW there was whirling blade, before that flame dash (I think?)....but the 3.9 version was really bad. I mean really bad for me at least, because the staff-wielding, leap-slamming, not-working-freeze-chaining, stupid-helmet-wearing witch felt .... clunky to say at least. Didn't like it and I don't think that the majority of people who wanted to play arc liked it, but oh well, it's just a gut feeling. to bad (again: for me) that the build seems to be relying on golems again, but I'll decide based on the updated build to switch my league starter. Nonetheless: Big thumbs up to Enki for all the effort you put up again and again, not to forget all the personally answered questions, even during first week of a league. |

this was the first build i did in the sindicate league but was lacking boss dmg to me so i switched to winterob pathfinder, then slayer cyclone and then summoner for 2 leagues, so with the bosses buffs this build is viable?
i really like clear maps with arc and they nerf summoner a lot was thinking about start with summoner and do a 2nd char arc (tried the essence drain trickster but didnt liked at all) Last edited by Mokurp#2464 on Mar 11, 2020, 5:23:10 PM

I have only ever played Arc Witch. I wanted to try something different but I also wanted to level with a build that I am familiar with.
I was thinking of starting from "Shadow" instead of witch. This allows me to reach the standard POB "arc witch" route in 3 painless nodes, I can level like Arc Witch but have greater flexibility to change to Shadow builds later in the league. Anyone see any problems with this approach? If I decide to stick with Arc Shadow, there is no problems with that is there? Does shadow get the onslaught gem automatically (20% cast and movement speed)? Whereas witches would need to create a mule character to get that gem? I am still not entirely sure I have understood the reason why people mule characters. |

"Kinda blame GGG for that, first they nerfed Beacon of ruin to the ground, and then added the golem path which is basically only defensive Elementalist can spec into in their ascendancy, and nearly everyone picks them. Maybe controversial opinion but in its current state if you hate golems with a passion it's probably better to play Inquisitor or some other class. "To either get gems their class doesn't start with, or to check the vendor for any good starter items (like movespeed boots or wands with good damage affix etc.) Last edited by Viktranka#3883 on Mar 11, 2020, 5:20:26 PM

" This is absolutely true. Elemancer is the only thing keeping this ascendancy viable. |

I am not sure starting with Shadow would be ok. Too many questions:
- Are all the starting stats different? - Are all the gems and rewards when leveling different? - Is there any problems when it comes to ascendanciess? When i test the shadow start it gives you knives and poison gems... But I tested the mule thing and I think it has to be scion to get the onslaught for extra speed during the first levels. Do you think its worth doing? |

"According to wiki, you can buy the arc gem in act 1 as a witch, templar or shadow, so you can level with it. Onslaught is given to the scion at start, but shadow can get it from "the mercy mission" which is a fairly early quest. Even though onslaught support was nerfed in 3.9 to be less effective in early levelling, so it's not as crucial to have it. If you're not an experienced player, you don't need to have a "perfect levelling strat" just take it slowly and enjoy the game. One thing I would check is what kind of damaging supports you can get to your spells for your early 2/3/4-link setup so you'd know you won't get stuck without a support that buffs the spell by significant margin. Shadow should have some amount of spells offered when you check not only quest rewards but also what's put on vendor afterwards (usually wider array of skills than direct quest rewards). Also be sure to complete library side quest in act3, it offers a lot of different skill and support gems! If you want to play spellcaster Shadow I'd choose Trickster ascendancy as it's fairly versatile for different spell casting styles. |

For some reason im unable to click on the passives for each act? The link disappeared. I dont know what to pick next based off the entire passive tree listed. Im sure there's a certain order I need to go.
