If I have the spell cast speed nodes in the very beginning of the passive tree(old build version), do I have to respec the whole tree to change to the new version? Or am I on the wrong track here. Would that be around 100 respec points?
Hello! First of all, great build! Probably the best build I've played.
I have a couple of questions about the new version of this build.

Why exactly do we need Agility node (+30 dex)? Just to meet Herald of Ice dex requirements? So we don't have to have dex on the gear? Is this the same reason why we take int+dex nodes (above Retribution) instead of str+ele.dmg (below Holy Dominion)?

For anyone curious about the initial points in the beginning of the tree: all you have to do is respec 3 points off if somewhere else on your tree, put those points in the beginning of the tree, then respec the other 3 points in the beginning, and you're good to go. Should cost 6 respecs total.

I was thinking the same about this. Haven't tested it yet, but I also have the feeling that Inspiration coming from the Arc setup alone will be good enough - for me at least. And I'll probably drop the one in the Storm Brand setup for something else. But I figure that's a matter of personal taste/opinion and everyone has to find out for themselves what works best.

Blind might be interesting alternative. Or Culling Strike as long as you don't have it from the gloves. Faster Casting could be another option so that you can pop the Brands out extremely quick. But I guess I'll go for Blind or Culling Strike. Have to test it out first tho.

Oh nice i just noticed that change from your post.

Btw if i have zealotry from items, what gem should use instead? I feel like i have enough mana for some nice support for heralds with lv1 clarity
I've got a completely noob question but have not been able to find the answer on google.

The guide again and again emphasizes that LMB with arc should be set to "attack without moving" and the same for flame dash.

Whenever I do this - it works as intended but I am no longer able to pick up items nor walk (of course). What key do you use for manually walking and picking up items?

I tried with the "key pickup" option and set it to 'F' but this does not seem to work either.

Someone help a with this probably stupid question.

lmb=walk, rmb=arc, looting with lmb all works fine
For those concerned about life leech after the ascendancy switch, it seems the budget way to accomplish this (read that as without buying a glorious vanity right away) is to pick up an amulet with “o.xx% of lightning damage leeched as life” suffix. This suffix almost always comes coupled with the equivalent of t2 lightning resistance so it does double duty in that regard. Even on PS4 amulets with this affix aren’t horribly expensive so they are likely dirt cheap in PC
