I'll drop a post (if anyone cares) when I finally make it to a decent level. Thanks again.

I care, feel free to ask any questions. You can post your gear by clicking the equipped items from your character icon in the upper left while making a post. Sometimes people ask for advice on choices.

No questions yet, I haven't had much play time yet but I flew through the first act. I was well ahead of my level and killed bosses in seconds. I moved so fast and confident, that I forgot to even pick up some cold resist rings for the ice boss at the end. It didn't matter, crushed her. I have started to use the static attack skill, instead of the molten one (I'm sorry, I'm at work and can't quite remember their exact names) and the static one seems nowhere near as good as the molten one. I'm just trying to keep it leveled at the moment though..

Really excited. Thanks again. Will refrain from posting anymore junk until I've made it somewhere worth sharing. Love it.

Sovyn,

I love the playing style of this max block Pally, some how I'm facing issue staying alive in Cruel Act 1. It seem large mobs swarm me and kinda kill me in 5 seconds.

Am I doing anything wrong? Im Lvl 45 now.

Hello arton, It's probably a basic gearing issue. Make sure you have 50+ life on everything for Cruel and that you have a good shield like crest of perandus. Get a good rare weapon 200 pdps (physical damage per second, the elemental stuff is pretty useless here). You've certainly found enough currency by now to get these things. Make sure you have updated your life flasks and use them well.

Edit, also make sure you have 75 to each of the three elemental resistances.

Yes, static strike really is only good when you get multistrike to go with it, then it's a bit better than molten strike particularly when you consider it's easier to kill packs that you leap into the middle of with a circular AOE shape than the random fire balls. At the endgame static beats molten in timed boss kill speed testing as well.

I'm not disappointed at all so far, and even notice the counterattack skills popping off a decent amount of the time. Can't wait to get some of those cast on hit things. I almost went with cleave, but I can't get fancy being my first time through.. trying to follow the guide as closely as possible. So excited. Any suggestion as to the best time to try the Labyrinth? I haven't been able to get much further than the first boss or whatever in there, on previous characters.

Cleave is fine early on if you have a nice weapon that works with it. At endgame, only Doryani's Catalyst is a good weapon at a low cost, so you must use skills that work with maces (cleave does not). You'd probably have to mortgage your house to afford a weapon that good for cleave.

As to Lab, I haven't run through the game all over again for 2.2 but I'd say if you are well geared for your level when you first get access to it you should be able to finish it. It may take some strategy as the developers no doubt intended (the boss has a lot of tricks I'm sure are designed to be observed and countered appropriately). I just ROFL stomped it in Merciless for example but I'm a bit over leveled.

Sure jason but first you would have to go into your account privacy settings and uncheck the Hide characters tab option.

First your weapon is only 61 pdps so you are not killing monsters nearly as fast as you should. You'll notice that in my example of good weapons in the guide the one for your level is 202 pdps. A world of difference.

Go to the website poe.trade and learn to use the search functions there, it is essential in order to play this game pretty much.

Upgrade rings to 60 life each, boots and belt to 70 each at least.

This should all be cheap, a couple alchemy each or something.

Make sure to get enough resists on the pieces as well so you are 75 to all three in Cruel.

Hope this helps.

Ok will do so. Just checking for the weopan that pdps range, it cost around 3 orbs in poe trade. Is it normal? Or expensive?
