1. CoD is a great item for the build, since it comes with some good mana + regen for great sustainability. Also far more accessible than my chest in Beyond.

I'm using CoD this league because I used the MOM keystone in Ambush and I wanted to see the difference. Bearing in mind the 2 main differences:

1. CoD comes with meager ES, and
2. CoD has a 40% MOM instead of 30% (i.e. slightly more emphasis on Mana than Life)

Would it be preferable instead to use the saved passives (4) from MOM keystone as well as Scion life wheel (3) to go for Deep Wisdom and Heart and Soul? This takes up an additional 2 skill points, but results in 5% more Life as well as a heck lot more Mana & regen.

Thoughts?

This is a completely acceptable tree.

Mmmm, exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for the fast and constant replies to all our queries man!

5. The most urgent Q20 is FC, which you have. From there, Lpen and SE are secondary. I think Q20 on AA is somewhat important. Asides from those, the build doesn't really need quality.

Ahhhh! Thanks, that was it. I knew I was missing something - my old char had a selffound q17 FC, that's why she had so much better dps at the same level.
I'm also thinking about going for Heart and Soul (instead of the lightning wheel).
Life efficiency isn't great but soooo much mana... hmmm :D
Maybe I could drop Disc then (which I hate)
From 1.2.2 patch notes:
>Fixed a bug where Arc did not chain off targets that did not leave corpses.

This should affect the shattered enemies frozen with Herald of Ice. Not a big deal anyway.

Actually a pretty big deal since people can now boost DPS while retaining a large amount of unreserved mana.

Any ideas on what to upgrade? I was thinking my chest is priority but I am not sure if to get the MoM chest or a lightning coil. I also want to boost my dps I feel like I do not have enough

Well that was already the case for non-crit builds, I've only used HoI for a few levels but the freezing/shattering was extremely rare to see. Sure, the fix is a slight improvement to "AoE" dps, but I already opted for HoI to have more dps and mana for less dex in the first place.
@Banes, get a cloak, and work on getting more mana regen on the other ring. Also, where do you get your +1 curse?
