3. Get Mental Rapidity and Ashe, frost and storm circles. Also get the cast nodes at the base of the tree.

Also, you definitely want way more life than that for Atziri. Something like 4.5k would do. You also don't need Rumi's at all.

Just wanted to drop by for some positive feedback. After a few deaths which were completely my own fault, I rerolled with this build and am currently level 84 on Beyond after a week or so of playing.

I initially set off for the poor man's BM version, but ended up never having to. With mostly average ES gear and a few self-crafted rings, I reached enough mana regen to sustain Arc and a decently leveled AA fairly early. I believe it is entirely possible to start with EB/MoM setup from the get-go considering how easy it is to get a good amount of mana regen from rings with master crafting now. AA just makes a lot of leveling feel smoother, at least in my eyes.

I dislike spending too much time trading, so most of my gear is self-found and self-crafted.
I estimate the total worth of my current gear to be somewhere around 2 ex, not counting the Rathpith I only recently purchased for 3 ex.

This build is already very tanky without the latter, and the combination of life leech, passive leech from Tempest Shield, 74% block coupled with Lazhwar, MoM and AA, makes most things unable to even put a dent in my life bulb. I rarely encounter dangerous situations and the most problematic monsters are probably the chaos degen rare beyonders with nasty mods who flicker strike me or unique beyonders in maps with sketchy mods.

Na'em in an extra damage, chain map got me very low very quickly. I also encountered Abaxoth in a 69 map and couldn't even get close - that was before I got max spellblock though. He feels out of reach with Arc's limited range. Probably doable in a party with someone to Enfeeble/Temporal Chains him and take off some heat, but that's another story.

My current stats: 4.6k life, 1k unreserved mana, 74/75% block, level 18 AA.
3.3k tooltip DPS which feels a bit lowish in groups but solo clear speed is good.
Still missing a decent 5L and dual cursing so that's probably why.

Overall, this is probably my most successful character in hardcore so far - granted I haven't touched the hardest tier of maps yet, but I'm quite satisfied with how my character turned out so far. Cheers for the great build.

What are you guys seeing for the DPS on the Offense screen on this build? I'm getting there, I have most of the gear outlined, but at level 71 while I'm kicking some butt, the dps still seems low compared to what I was expecting. I'm at about 3900. Doryani's will help that a bit, but I don't see it pushing me much beyond 4000. I have to up my gem quality and levels, I could use some more mana regen and need the rest of the nodes outlined beyond these few things, I think my gear doesn't have much room for improvement so I'm wondering why my DPS is low. Thanks for any tips!

@Marlenus, gem levels. Also, get your arc on a 5L with Empower lvl3 or Added Lightning damage, or get your arc on a Geofri 4link.

Currently leveling empower and I have another leveling in my Offhand as well if i brick the first one. ignore the gems in my gloves. I was messing with something when the servers went down.

Also, as this is one of my first characters after a long break I didn't know I shouldn't level CWDT combo and I failed to read about it in your guide because I was too excited to play.

Other than that, I would really love some criticism on my gear.

I've been mapping as high as 70 and 71 I think. Both were pretty much a walk in the park I haven't found any mods that aren't doable yet either.

@Madget, get a different belt. Either a doryani or something with way more life. Also, there's no damage skill on culling strike?
