" Took throat seeker to early, also decided to go into shadow tree, then half-way through decided to go templar. However, everything is already up on the guide :P IGN-Shibloble

" Oh, okay. Thanks. :) I'm not thinking I'm going to make it into Templar area, just because if I do, there won't be as many points to put into ES. Invited to Beta 2012-03-18 / Supporter since 2012-04-08

" IMO, although I haven't had much time to experiment. (basing this off of theory crafting), taking the ES nodes up at CI, the new ones (should of mentioned I am CI :P) and the Body and Soul nodes in templar tree, makes taking both the templar and the shadow tree even more reasonable and useful. Even if it's doable to go Templar and Shadow, I think one should focus on one or the other up to level 75 or so, to complete one side or the other, then you can dip on the side you skipped.
If you're going for Ghost Reaver, taking both Nullification clusters is pretty easy and along with the ES leech it will increase your survivability dramatically, but of you're not taking Ghost Reaver then the two side are just about equal in point spent vs ES/res/damage gained. The Templar tree however gives you the chance to easily use hybrid ES/AR gear since the bonus from Body and Soul is bigger then the bonus from Nullification: 20% Ar and ES vs 10% Eva and ES. IGN:

I see Frostbite and Enfeeble talked about as good curses, but what about Critical Weakness? Wouldn't that really up our damage a lot?

" Can't forget about temporal chains. Great gem. Crit weakness isn't used as in ONLY ups damage, and the chances to freeze just a bit. But if you come across a cold resis mob, it's quite useless. Enfeeble allows you to take a few hits, which allows for more attacks before backing away. Frostbite does what crit weakness can, but removes cold resis and adds a better chance to freeze. Sooo...
I've been thinking, if I plan on re-making my cold crit CI witch, should I post an update here every ten or so levels? If so, I would add a few restrictions to my character: a) It will not have ANY contact with ANY character that was made before it. b) All items will be self-found, on that character or any character made afterwards c) I will not trade for items (only gems), unless given for free. So, yes or no? IGN-Shibloble

from where you take dex early on? support gems that we need are mostly green (dex), and in your CI build there is only one +30dex node, so we dont level added cold dmg/faster proj/lmp?

" You level them up, but at end game, chances are you will have some dex on items, same with strength. Also, Like I said before, do not follow this build blindly. This page is more for a "guide", if your following the "basic builds" you need to know they are intended to NOT be perfect, but still viable. If you follow any of the other "builds" they are not by me, so giving you exact details isn't possible. IGN-Shibloble
