[2.2] Guide for Life based Crit Dagger Reave
New build looks awesome, but since you mentioned it's based on a bug, could you still include your old build as alternative in case bug gets fixed?

" The tooltip bug is only in case of Reave incompatible wapons e.g. Maces. 2 daggers will however never result in higher tooltip DPS than Dagger + Mace (unless it's 2x mirrored), because one dagger will always be weaker compared to the other and drag your DPS down. " The bug nerfes the build DPS wise, so if it gets fixed it will be a buff! Or simply put your Dagger into the main hand to avoid the whole bug issue. hey interesting build thinking about switching over from https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1301888/page/1 to this>>>
is this artizi viable?.. what do you think about using relentless fury for an off hand? i have about 16 ex to kinda play with switching over, have a binos a corrupted 6L trying to push for end game stuff ( this is the furthest ive ever gotten to playing this game so really trying to see if i can kill artizi ) Want me to link my gear, any input would be great Edit: i bought a doryanis and have respect to what i can to match your dw tree how are you getting endurance charges for ic with cwdt?? Just starting this build with this dagger i found in warbands:
Do you have a leveling skill tree at all to help with priority? Or do you suggest by a as needed bases? |
|
" Atziri is no problem at all (I suppose you mean normal atziri), you might want to change to selfcast EC + Immortal Call for the Trio fight. " It is a good off-hand for levelling, but for endgame you have much better options available. You should also note that leech mods on weapons are local as of 2.0. " I don't generate endurance charges. It's more like a reflect countermeasure. 1 sec phys immunity protects me from the immediately following attacks, which is enough to leech back/kill the reflect rare. Pupicitas: lv. 100 Shadow

" This dagger is a really good start considering the scarcity of crit weapons in templeagues. If you equip a 1.5 AS Axe into you mainhand the Dagger will have 282 DPS! " I don't have a levelling skilltree anymore, since this resulted in 5+ skilltrees that have to be redone everytime I did changes to the build. You follow the route from Shadow to Ranger tp Duelist picking up Hp nodes the moment you reach them and DPS nodes immediately after that. Once you are at Duelist you start picking up all the crit nodes that you have skipped. Pupicitas: lv. 100 Shadow

Can you do reflect maps?
And how about big hitters in maps? Do they melt before they get a chance to strike at all? | |
" This build reaches it's DPS level by having insane attackspeed and not by mindlessly stacking critmulti (Abyssus says hello), so reflect is no problem at all. " What do you mean with big hitters exactly? If I run solo, I kill most of the stuff the very moment it comes into my Reave range. I did not have a chance to run 80+ maps yet though, so I can't really comment on those, but I doubt that the outcome will change much. Pupicitas: lv. 100 Shadow

Can you please explain why Doryani's Catalyst is the best offhand atm? My tooltip DPS seems to be lower with it. Also, what gems should I put into it to get profit out of prolif?

Hey Candoerfer, nice build!
I am planning on making a reave character on tempest league so I won't be able to access the badass high end gear. For end game I will probably transit over to lightning coil. As far as the skill tree goes, what would you do differently for HC? Is dual wielding still superior to 1 hand/shield in HC? I don't really know much about dex based melee chars as I usually play range and cyclone melee. Thanks for your help. |
