Imagine adding a single mod of choice to that items, they immediatelly become 1-5 ex worth items with that specific necessary mod. Of course, the new mods should be limited, we should never be able to roll tyrannycal on weapons so easily. Instead only tier 2, or tier 3 mods.

More or less covered but other people's response earlier already but I should have clarified.
I would be okay with no t1 mods from crafting but cutting it off at t3 is too low. Maybe it is a different limit for different mods.

That would seem to fit much better than an inventory slot based system.

As the game expands to more countries/timezones it is going to be a bad time for some players no matter what time they pick. In that situation they might as well pick a time that is most convenient for the developers.

This is an action RPG, with a sandbox skill build concept, re-roll a new character is almost more than a 80% of the gameplay it self.

They said they want to do two three month leagues per expansion instead so they have more time to work on the expansion, but I guess they feel a six month league would get stale without rebooting the economy and offering a new challenge.

Rerolling new toons is exactly the play experience that GGG wants so that people keep getting reengaged with the game. They don't want someone to "play it all" and be done.
