Sorry for the noobish questions, Does righteous fire work if i have the CI node? And if i were to go righteous fire .. what first steps should i take?

I wonder how important are the unique ring and neck that stops freezing and stuns? i'm playing in SC and my plan is to make this build into a low life RF build in the future but playing as CI is alot cheaper from the start then to try for a low life build RF. But i see the maker of this build saying you need to have the unique neck or you won't get any were with this build. so i want to know if i should just delete this character and quit the game? if this character fails im just going to admit this game is not for me and quit it, it has been a fun game but im getting abit bored when i can't play how i want to play unless im extremly lucky and gets lots of exalted orbs to get special uniques. I can see the use of the unique neck and ring on HC since if you die your done but on SC you just lose some exp and live to try again.
So should i just quit wasting my time since i don't have the funds to get those uniques or just carry on and just think of them as luxuary items like a 6l chest? |

" No, you cant activate Rf with CI. " I've been running a dual spark low life without chayula or dream fragments, but you might want them for maps(I haven't started and own't till I get shavs). so how do you keep your health from dropping to 1 with righteous fire ( Do i just spam HP pots? ) and how do you maintain such high ES? Cause the Shavronnes only gives about 500ish ES if i can remember correctly.. Do you just get high ES from other pieces of gear?

" I'm using springleaf for the most part, basically with zealots oath, %hp regen becomes % ES regen, and thats how you keep it up. I'm actually able to keep RF up with around 1.4kes(wearing tabula) and 2.5% regen in passives, +7%(Aruku tiki + springleaf) With a proper ES chest I dont even need springleaf(~2.8k ES) Ign: Elestrasza(Anarchy)/YoloSparkler(Standard)

From what i was planing to do when i go low life RF since you get to use a few more auras since you need to get your life down i would run vitality and get lots of life reg on gear to reg more life then RF deals also you need maxed fire res. Chest is only a fraction of the es you want to get yeah it only gives 500ish then add atleast 200 form head 150 from gloves boots im not sure of then you have neck that can get % es and set es and rings with set es same as belt any high es build wont relay on just the chest even with a crap chest you can get high es but then your other items need to be close to perfect. but don't take my word for it im no expert im just writing from watching alot of videos and going though guides.

Should i even aim for a Shavronnes? Got bout 40ish Ex saved.. should i grab a 6L Shav or a 900-1000ish 6L Rare chest?

" It depends if your going for this build shavronnes are not so good if you go with a lowlife build of this shavronnes is probably a most (not sure if there are any other uniques that does the same as shavronnes) since chaos damage will kill you instantly without it since it makes chaos damage deal damage to the ES instead of life and with around 200-300 life you won't be able to take much chaos damage |

I see, thanks. Not bashing this build or anything, but from what you guys been saying.. Righteous Fire low life seems to be the superior build.( Higher DPS , better farming ). I mean, what are the advantages of going non-righteous fire then ?

" You need a lot of money to get into the righteous fire build. More than I think I'll ever have (playing HC). When you have a Shaveronnes, you need some more money to get chaos resists on your items.
